Amazing shots! So dreamy. I want to get into street photography like this one. I’m thinking of this lens vs the sigma 56mm f1.4 and this 30mm sold on me! Thanks for being an inspiration!
@johannesbgonzalez2 ай бұрын
I'm glad I could help clarify. You will prolly love the 56mm too though :) The 30mm offers a more "natural to the eye" look, and the 56 will punch in more and give another look. I like both focal lenghts. But I think the 30mm is the safest :)

@@johannesbgonzalezWould you be able to use the 56mm if you were to take the same photos? Or it’s more for portraits?
@johannesbgonzalez2 ай бұрын
@@claumiaou on paper it's more of a portrait lens. But I've used this focal length for Street Photography too.

@@johannesbgonzalez thanks for all your responses. It means a lot to hear from experts. Your photos really inspire me. Last question do you think a6100 would be a good camera for a beginner? I don’t want to spend so much on a camera yet knowing I’m still starting.
@johannesbgonzalez2 ай бұрын
@@claumiaou of course. That's why I make these kind of videos :) the a6100 is a slightly better version of the a6000 that I use here. It's defiantly good for the money!

I picked up a used A6300 a year or so ago at a swap meet for a couple hundred bucks. I bought it with the hopes that it could be my walk around/street camera. I love it and it would certainly do the job if it weren't for the battery life. My question is how does the A6400 do in terms battery life? My main camera is a Nikon Z6ii and i absolutely love it. But its a bit bigger than i prefer on a four or five hour walk.
@johannesbgonzalez3 ай бұрын
Hey. I haven't used the a6400. But the battery life on the sony cameras has gotten better for each model almost, I think. But why not just buy another battery for your 6300? Also set the camera in flight mode if you haven't and perhaps turn off sun light mode for the screen, if you are using that.
@Golub122Ай бұрын
The A6400 uses the older/smaller batteries. On my last night walk i took around 150 pictures and the battery was at 66%, so its decent. I would still recommend getting one extra battery if photography is your hobby.

How do you set up a6000 to have minimal shutter speed of 1/200s?
@johannesbgonzalez3 ай бұрын
Try to look here, I explain it in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKvWoqGrfqZ0adEsi=MgSA8TK1A3iQXvv0&t=183

@@johannesbgonzalez I've watched it but there is no minimal ss setting in my a6000. Is there in yours? i've been shooting with this camera for a while and only think that stopped me from using apature priority mode is that my a6000 is defaulting to ss 1/60s before raising iso which is annoying, so I'm shooting manual. I really want to know how you set this up if it's even possible.
@johannesbgonzalez3 ай бұрын
@@Sarius59231 you know what. I doesnt have it. I am just so used to have it on my a7iii, so I didnt realise it. you can use the ISO to adjust it. Or as I do - set a max ISO for the camera to use and then use the exposure compensation, which basically does the same ends up changing the shutter speed if you reach the ISO threshold you set.
@Sarius592313 ай бұрын
@@johannesbgonzalez that's what I've been doing. Manual mode with auto iso and mostly the same aperture throughout the whole shooting, so the only thing I'm changing is my ss. I find it to be the best settings for me but I really want to upgrade to a Sony a6400 which has min ss setting. Thanks for the explanation, keep up the good work!
