Thanks for tuning in bro! Love the progress on your Maverick R!

Holy shit, that leaf blower did sound similar to the Speed 😅

It does! Pretty stoked for RPM to be building a muffler. It's going to be very impressive!

How did you like it in the sand dunes?
@UTV-A7 ай бұрын
It was really nice riding, but I blew a charge tube after going up a minor hill, but it required the car to drop from high to low RPM’s. The second round of boost blew the charge tube. I feel lucky, others have had bigger failures in this scenario. If Speed works on the fuel mapping etc, then the car would do way better in the dunes.

So how is the low range with 35s do you think it will do ok with 37s
@UTV-A7 ай бұрын
The low range in the Speed UTV I’m sorry to report is not geared very low. It’s definitely not a crawler. I think it would handle 37’s with no issues if you wanted the extra clearance and the look.

Sooo wuth what you now know would you buy the SPEED again. It's been three plus years of waiting and I am begining to wonder if the wait is worth it.
@UTV-A7 ай бұрын
I’m really starting to enjoy the car, and I ran into someone in the sub #300 range and they didn’t have any of the issues that I have had. I can tell you that I bought and sold a can-am x3 RC, and a Polaris Pro R while waiting for the Speed. I sold the Pro R and bought The Can-am Maverick R. The game changer is the transmission in the Maverick R. I am still having clutch alignment issues that causes my belt to overheat. The belt temp’s don’t plague every car, but mine is one of them🥹 I love the Speed community, They are a legit group of individuals that aren’t afraid of building, and inventing new parts, and helping each other out. The Speed community would be hard to leave….

@@UTV-A thanks.... I have a X3 with a butt load of mods and over 8,000 miles on it and I have never had a issue, it's a great sxs. Mine is in production now so the wait is coming to a end soon... I hope.

Not for dunes
@UTV-A7 ай бұрын
@@allmotorhash Maverick R is the best in the dunes. The Speed was comfortable in the dunes, but until the clutches, and fuel mapping is corrected, the Speed is not for the dunes. She’s a blast in the desert!

@@UTV-A I appreciate your honesty. I wonder how you would feel if you had the Bandit in the dunes. I got a good amount of passenger time in a MavR and that sucker just eats whoops. Cant get used to the ball bearing clucking of the DCT but it does work well and no more belts! That said I am so torn between getting MavR since I primarily ride Glamis or Speed 2 seater. Like you said if Speed gets the belt issues fixed and the Speed Key released, game changer I think. Thoughts?

I’m not endorsed in anyway by Speed or any company. Just talking about my cars. One of the two Speed shops is in my town. Gotta say that is pretty cool

I don't understand. If the maverick R is so much better than the speed, why even drive the speed without your family?
@UTV-A7 ай бұрын
I like driving the Speed better in the desert. Way smoother…. The Maverick R kinda beats you up a bit, but the drive is very exhilarating
