27 Litre Merlin V12 helped a lot😁😁😁😁
@bigfish74934 жыл бұрын
Not very specific. This type superseded the Hurricane of similar but earlier design. The Spit jumped alive when the Merlin grew a supercharger that was cockpit managed. This overcame initial climb and ceiling challenges that were part of the formulation needed to match-fight Germany's formidable ME-109.Reportedly, the Spit was the most dangerous of the two at ceiling height. It is worth one's time to research the Spitfire/Merlin combination so as to understand that as a Warbird machine it evolved through many stages of improvement. The Merlin was a ferocious powerplant that was used postwar in other airframes.

maybe that is because there were more hurricanes in the battle of Britain than the spitfire

Only the British would make a fighter plane out of wood....
@MDzmitry3 жыл бұрын
*Cough* Soviet Yak and La fighters, partially Il-2 attackers, german Bf.109G starting from G-5 or G-6 had wooden tails to speed up the production.

We really love your videos but there is a problem. When ever the video start to be very interest then it ends. Without us knowing what happened at the end. It's like majority of your videos are very shot. Please Always tell us all what that happened not a portion of it. Thank you.

If the fight was in sight of England they were ok.They had no range and was barely a match for the Messersmit. The Hurricane and Tempest were better and did the most of the fighting .

Hmmm the Me 262 Is way more deadly, if it came earlier in the war.
