Honestly I think Lord Kaan's brotherhood of darkness is the weakest due to Kaan's intentions. Vitiate didn't actually see the Sith as what he wanted so he engineered it to be 'weak' but despite that it still conquered half the galaxy and would have steamrolled the Republic if it had invaded during Revan's time.

Vitiate never really cared about the Sith Empire at all. He wanted to use everyone in the galaxy in his dark ritual that would allow him to consume all life and become omnipotent forever.

individually the significant sith of this era were incredibly powerful, but the infighting was arguably at its worst. SWTOR shows this perfectly, the end of both of the sith playthroughs includes defeating another sith, whilst the jedi playthroughs end with destroying actual enemies it was also common for sith to take apprentices for the sole purpose of using them and then discarding the, rather than truly training an apprentice

To me Darth Marr was the Old Republic version of Garak from Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Everything Garak did he did for Cardasia to ensure it's survival even if he had to live among people who hated him and even work with them. Marr was pretty much the same everything Marr did was to ensure the Empire survived, even if it meant working with the Republic and the Jedi. Both of them were the ultimate patriots.

Reminds me of the death of Palpatine, when Thrawn was opining on it to Captain Pellaon. He basically said Palpatine was a Sith battlemaster. his influence spread through the realm, making ALL his troops better by far, and yet also highly dependent on him. When Palpatine died, the battle they were winning turned in to a confused mess, where they lost several star destroyers and the Executor and more in engagements they should have won, and were routed in force, despite their massive numbers advantage. Vitiate, when he fell, his empire followed right behind him because he made everyone dependent on him.

The emperor's only true goal was immortality. He FEARED DEATH. The empire, the war on the galaxy was a means to an end. Individually they were very powerful many of them, and not all Republic troopers could go head-to-head with many of them. Predominantly it was a lot of the infighting that was their ultimate down fall

Just think, even Bane sensed the weakness of the Brotherhood of Darkness (even though the Sith of the Brotherhood were far stronger than the marauders of the emperor). But, whilst Malgus couldn't break through the red tape of it all, Bane simply decided to wipe the slate clean in one fell swoop! That's why he's the Sith Lord I admire above all else.

Funny enough, I consider it the strongest even with the infighting and it still out lasted the Eternal Empire which was Vitiate's true goal. The Galactic Empire wasn't a true Sith Empire so I don't count it, the weakest was the Brotherhood of Darkness and the Sith Empires before Tenebrae only ruled so many worlds while Vitiate's Sith Empire ended up holding half the Galaxy. For me, the two strongest Sith Empires was the One Sith and Vitiate's Sith Empire.

I’ve long noticed this about certain Star Wars fans, it seems a lot don’t realize that no matter how fantastically massively powerful in the force a being is, their body’s are no more durable than an average member of their species,that’s how given the situation and average trooper might be able to overcome a sith or Jedi, if a force user is distracted or caught up or doesn’t see it coming, the butt of a rifle will knock them out just as easily as a normal person. when they those massive jumps and flips it doesn’t come from their muscles but using the force to propel themselves. However both sith and Jedi are trained from birth in constant physical exercise and always continue to do so throughout life, so they are absolute peak physical condition. Probably much much more so than the average members of their species, so they are capable of things even without the force that most of the population can not do. But they can still be killed just as easily if in some way they leave and opening or vulnerability present

It is at least arguable that Valiyn is Strongest Ever (though not necessarily "Sith"), which is why Valkorion went to so much trouble to condition her. His Eternal Empire's force users crushed pretty much everyone until The Player Characters showed up. In an MMO, anything with stats can be killed by The Chosen One and some buds, so that can't really be held against Valkorion lol.

This is why I think Bioware dropped the ball so hard with the concept of the "True Sith" they inherited from Obsidian. When you actually step back and look at things objectively, Revan and Malak's Empire + the Triumvirate accomplished far more than the empire that they were supposedly imitators of. They managed to bring about the near-extinction of the Jedi Order during one of its strongest eras, with many of its masters being veterans of Exar's war. As well as pushing the Republic to such a point that it was apparently only a month away from collapse before the Exile just barely managed to stabilize things on Onderon, Telos, and Dantooine.

I think that this is an oversimplification to be honest. I agree that Vitiate did a lot to hinder his own Empire because he did not care for it, there is a whole lot more to it than that. There was also the fact that the Force itself was leaning light after so many decades of Darkside Dominance so the champions of the light won more often. On top of that the Jedi order had massive reforms and those troopers that managed to kill off Sith either were HYPER ELITE special war veterans with 20+ years of combat experience and special equipment/implants/stimulants, or were just people of such colossal GALL that you would wonder how the hell they could walk around with the weight of star systems between their legs. And even then most of those guys got killed. I also fail to see how a Sith Marauder could be weaker than a Zakuulan Knight for being loyal adherents to The State when the Knights of Zakuul were literally fanatical devotees of The State as their entire way of life. They were utterly brainwashed.

The Sith Empire was incredibly powerful but if the Great Galactic War wasn't as destructive as it should have been, we have Revan to thank. Allow me to explain. When the Sith Emperor imprisoned Revan, he attempted to extract information from Revan's mind. However, Revan, being a highly skilled and powerful Force user, utilized the Force bond or link between them to turn the tables on the Emperor. Revan's connection to the Emperor allowed him to delve into the Emperor's mind and influence his thoughts and actions. Through this link, Revan was able to subtly manipulate the Emperor's perceptions, planting seeds of doubt and confusion. He used his own strong will and knowledge of the Force to resist the Emperor's attempts at control and assert his own influence instead. By exploiting their connection, Revan was able to implant ideas and suggestions in the Emperor's mind, subtly steering his actions and decisions. This gave Revan a measure of control over the Emperor and allowed him to influence the direction of the Sith Empire. It was a battle of wills and manipulation, with Revan using the same link that the Emperor hoped to exploit to his advantage. Revan's ability to influence the Emperor demonstrated his immense strength in the Force and his exceptional tactical and strategic capabilities. Despite his imprisonment, Revan was able to turn the tables on his captor and use their connection to gain an advantage. This showcases the complexity and depth of Revan's character and his ability to outmaneuver even the most powerful Sith Lord. Revan was the GOAT!

Revan was never able to manipulate the emperor. Vitiate only let him think he did. Revan thought he was the one who convinced the emperor to force the empire into the treaty of Coruscant, but that wasn't true. The actual reason for the treaty was ... he became too busy changing diapers ... Yes I'm serious. It was around that time that his children were born and he redirected his attention to them and became almost completely silent in the empire, doing only the barest of minimum.

They don't give an exact timeline but more than likely a few hundred years after he was born. Societies like zakuul don't appear overnight. Remember, the first time he did his ritual, he used zildrog to wipe out all life on nathema and devoured them with his ritual. So by then he more than likely knew about the technology of iokath and the existance of the eternal fleet (he used the scions to actually find it). So you can assume that even by then he was already at least wavering about the sith.

This is absolutely correct, not only did Revan slowly influence the direction of Vitiate's empire but he also delayed their initial attack for 300yrs. If not for Revan, Vitiate would've attacked the jedi & republic immediately following the jedi civil war while they were still recovering, that's why Revan created his own sith empire in the 1st place because he felt the republic was too weak to combat Vitiate's empire & why Vitiate's empire ended up being a mirrior of Revan's. Without Revan, Vitiate more than likely would've taken over the entire galaxy.

Vader actually was healing his lungs with the dark side. But everytime he got close to fully healing them he became happy, lost his dark healing ability and his lungs collapsed. 🫁 dark side healing is only temporary and you have to be in a constant state of healing in order to not lose it like scion was. Once you stop the dark heal its gone.

Weakest is a very wrong term to use. Some of the dark council's sith were immensely powerful and in my opinion could stomp most all of lord kaan's brotherhood sith individually. But the infighting was their biggest problem hindering them from winning the war against the republic.

The Sith of this time were basically cannon fodder with the notable exception Darth Malgus and a few others. The Rule of 2 Sith were much more powerful and most Masters and Apprentices of Banes line were probably on par with Vitiate power wise. Certainly Darth Sidious and Darth Vader would defeat Vitiate/Valkorion individually if they fought him. But earlier Sith in the line of bane such as Plagueis, Tenebrous, Zannah and Bane himself would likely also be considerable threats to Vitiate. Even Maul and Dooku who never reached their full potentials as Sith (Maul because he was cut in half and replaced by Dooku who himself was to old when he became a sith) would have been more powerful than the vast majority of Sith at this time. A lot of Vitiates power came through sith rituals, it was not his own inherent strength and he was a poor lightsaber duelist. Now his power was great as he was able to defeat Revan who easily the greatest jedi of the old Republic era. There is some debate over whether later incarnations of Revan (which were much stronger) surpassed the Emperor but these are speculative.

I disagree with all of this. Kad Bane beat both Oni Wan and Quinlyn Voss during the Clone Wars. Not to mention that Darth Plagueis was nearly killed by Maladian Assasins in 52BBY. The bounty hunter Durge, General Greaves and all the Jedi he killed, Jango and Boba Fett, Shay Vissla the Imperial Agent vs Darth Jades and the list goes on and on. This is because none force sensitives aren't helpless against Jedi and Sith. They are techniques such as Teras Kasi that were developed to combat force wielders. In an Era where conflict between and with Jedi and Sith is common, it's not surprising that Republic Spec Ops Troopers would be well equipped to combat Powerful Sith Warriors. Based on this, I'd conclude that Sith warriors weren't weak. One other thing I disagreed with is the assumption that Valkorion is a Sith. By his (Valkorion's) own admission, he was not a Sith but more like a Free Agent Dark Sider. Sidious is the most powerful Sith of all time, but Valkorion may have been the more powerful Dark Sider. The content is awsome though man! Keep at it!

Agreed, it is very hard to judge the sith as a whole based on that one cutscene. The group that was fighting against them was havoc squad, the strongest members of the republic military. The one's who get the best equipment and get sent on the most dangerous suicide-like missions. When the sith sacked Coruscant, they defeated the jedi in the temple along with the temple guards.

Weak in what context? All of the Empires were problems and Malgus is his own problem. Plus, the character you play is a problem and Revan is locked up, but taking up a lot of Valkorion's time as well as the Eternal Empire and his children were around for like 30 or 40 years of this 300 year stint in his life. Vitiate MAY have been 1 of the most POWERFUL Darksiders ever BUT at the cost of being pretty much LITERALLY one of the WORST rulers then... since he had a mixed Force User/Normie army.. an the Force user side largely became a glorified warrior if your average Non Foce user commando or soldier could take one on.... Palpatine tried to achieve immortality via essence transfer, he didn’t use the force to destroy planets because he actually wanted to rule a populated galaxy while vitiate didn’t care, and palpatine did actually mind control the entire population of a planet in legends (the planet byss). The main thing is that palpatine’s goals were different

@@jakealter5504 first off Vitates immortality was great to the point his body didn’t age and he could essence transfer to any body he so chooses Sidious needed clones and his body was not ageless And like I tell other people if any of the rule of 2 sith we’re or even bane, then by definition the order wouldn’t exist it just be 1 sith Second you think spending all the galaxies resources on the Death Star would be a waste of money time and manpower just to destroy a planet beyond the means of the force Imagine sidious using his powers to destroy a planet that was against him and then play it out as something secret the empire was developing only the rebels had no idea how to counter it That effectively makes palptine look like an idiot Since if he had the power to destroy planets the death star wouldn’t even need to be made And you can still use the scare tactic of having a secret weapon no one knows about without spending any resources Basically if sidious could destroy planets like the ancient sith to any degreas then the whole point of the deathstar is called into question Either Sidious was incapable of destroying planets due to a lack of knowledge(know how) the raw power or any backlash to attempt to Or He could and wasted the galaxy’s resources money and man power along with his whole empire behind the deathstar And if it goes down they lose a lot in the process Also in legends there is no evidence palptine kind controlled people If he did you ask why would he need the clones have inhibitor chips to make them obey order 66 Or why not mind control the senate giving him power Or even the Jedi to be lured away into an ambush There is a reason him being so powerful would break the story It’s either he was incapable of doing so Or he is a moron You can’t have him be this powerful and do what he did in the series without an explanation Since the Jedi couldn’t even detect him his power or any trained darksider in the galaxy And would have gotten away with using any of that power even if the Jedi were still around

@@ATalesTruth- I never said that he didn’t make some stupid mistakes, just that he had different goals. He couldn’t replicate vitiates ritual since the knowledge was lost and he did plan to eventually be able to use the force to destroy planets in legends. He did actually achieve the power to destroy planets by using force storm, he just chose not to destroy planets because he actually wanted to rule a living galaxy. You also can’t say that vitiate didn’t make mistakes either
