Thank you Luca needed to hear some optimism. I'm a fan from the championship season so I've blessed with good seasons lol

Not to speak for all Raptors fans but majority of the Raptors fans in the past couple years asked for SIakam to be traded. Siakam was the only consistent scorer on the team. If the Raptors franchise plan is to focus on player development for the upcoming season(S). I'm not sure what fans should feel for the rest of the season is it's just going to be L after L. Something is definitely off with Barnes in the recent game against the bulls. Barnes was matched up with veteran stars like DeMar

It's a different type of investment as a fan. You get invested in the journey of the players. You get invested in the progress they make. It's less about stats and wins, and more about witnessing the potential being realized over a period of time. It's a deeper commitment but it makes things like 2019 vastly more satisfying.

I think we forget rj was not traded for Mitchell. So quick and rj would not been available for og at the beginning of the year or last yr. So waiting actually is what netted us these guys
@robertbarnes29769 ай бұрын
I've been waiting for this. I know much of the fantasy bought into Matt Devlin's rabid promotion of Fred and Pascal (aided and abetted by the mainstream media) but neither of those guys were ever good enough to anchor a championship team. Finally, the Raptors are accumulating young talent with some upside. There are a couple of glaring issues to address but I'm guessing that this process will be surprisingly quick. At least there is hope while there was none before.

Raps are rebuilding but the goal should be a playoff team next yr.. BBQ are all going to be in 4 plus season in the League.. These guys may be young but winning is going to he essential.. So yah Let's forget this year but after this year we have no time to Waste.. we need to get back to being a team that will be in the Playoffs.. Not Like we have only 1st and 2nd year players on this team.

Can imagine the draft night pundits saying this pick is going to (name your team) at least two of the four times especially if they land the 5th or 6th selection. Nikola Topic should be firmly on our radar in the lotto and if they trade the other two firsts and keep the 31st we could also develop Zac Edey. Exciting times. Are we done trading until draft night is the big question. Trent jr. just turned 25 same as Nwora. That ain't old.
@marc-andrejean75929 ай бұрын
Eh, why a non shooter around Scotty? Makes absolutely no sense.There is better choice out there. Zacchary Risacher is a way better choice. 47% 3 points shooter, 6.8, long wingspan, play defense, athletic. Topic is a flashy player but that's it
@Likerios222444 ай бұрын
They need a porzingis kind of center and they will literally be able to compete noW

I think we have to trade for Nic Claxton and Wendell Carter jr..... Keeping Barnes, RJ and Quickly.

I have never heard such nonsense, Raptors future looks bright? Scotty will soon start to demand that he be traded.
@gerald51759 ай бұрын
He's currently the centre piece of a team with two other young, potentially amazing players on his team to build around. Masai has an incredible reputation league wide and the Raptors are famous for turning players into stars. Why would he want to trade? If it's still like this at the end of his next contract maybe...
@windyfanatic4989 ай бұрын
@@gerald5175 The truth be told, once players become stars and are in a position to demand max contracts they will opt to leave Toronto because of taxes paid on income in Canada is ridiculously high. I would do the same if I was in that position. Toronto will never be able to retain a superstar for that simple reason.
@gerald51759 ай бұрын
@@windyfanatic498 No, they compensate for that. And also, interestingly, New York State and California tax their residents at rates that are higher than any Canadian province except Quebec. Your overall tax burden in New York and Los Angeles would be 28.5 per cent and 29 per cent, respectively.

@@MKultraInstinct OG is great and will definitely help the knicks. Quickley and RJ are good and they help the Raptors. It was a win-win trade in this scenario. The Pacers trade however the Raptors lost that one depending on what they do with Brown.
