I am Gali, in the year 1980 I lost all my hopes, I became a thief and club dancer. At that time I heard about Christ, the Lord spoke with me though the Scripture. JOHN 14:6 “I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER BUT BY ME.” I surrendered my life to Lord Jesus and confessed that He is the only Lord and died for my sins to deliver me from all my sins (Karma). When I totally surrendered my life to the Lord He has delivered me from evil spirits, which suffered me about 6 years. I became a new person in Christ. I love Bible so much and started memorizing the scriptures. By the grace of God I have memorized Five Thousand (5,000) Verses from the Holy Bible. Every week I also remember all the verses. Morning time I remember about 1500 verses for praise, worship and prayer. (Including 100 Psalms). This practice helps me to grow strong in the Lord and also to help others for the glory of the Lord. John 14:6 is my favorite verse; I preach this word to many unsaved people that they may find the peace in Jesus Christ because He is the Lord of all. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYi5mqWvjLyWnpY

It took me to burnout before I learnt to rest.. I was 5 years of chronic illness. Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation. But God did an amazing work. And if he can do this, he can do it in you also. 😇🙏 I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. *Keep believing even when it's hard* 🙏❤️🙌 *All things are possible with God*

I introduced (tried) the Sabbath in my life two years ago. I tend to say yes to everything, (especially at church) and always ended up breaking down multiple time, my heart racing, and almost burned out, frankly. Resting was NOT part of my vocabulary. Every time I go back to "never rest mode", I fee the difference. And I am more healthy mentally speaking. It also helps me to give all that I can during the 6 other days, because I know, I'll rest

I thank you for giving this message! I look back at the past 5 years of my life and I literally question how I got through it. Only God got me through it! I went to community college and it literally became an idol in my life. I thought I will go to community college so I can figure out how to do college with ADHD (I was diagnosed in 10th grade and was struggling to do well in school), then I can go to a 4 year college and I will be productive and then I will be happy. All I did was become a workaholic with little to no social life, and plagued by anxiety and low self esteem. I did all nighters at least once a week at one point using my ADHD medication to stay awake. I burned myself out for so long! Even after I gave my life to Christ in my second year of college, I still worked harder then my body could handle. I thought after graduation I would finally be able to rest. There was rest for a while, but now I find God has led me to be a floral department manager in my local grocery store and I can see myself falling into the same workaholic tendencies once again. God is showing me a lot of things that I need to deal with emotionally, but this is something that has never crossed my mind! Wow, this is an answered prayer, thank you! ✝️❤️🙏

My wife and I often use Saturday as our sabbath. Meaning we don’t work , we don’t meal prep, we do little and don’t have people over ( most of the time). We listen to our bodies need to have a day of rest. It seems like it’s programmed in us .

Christianity would keep our routine in the right direction in a perfect Christian World. We can't avoid comparing how strict it used to be. And the dots are so perfectly connected. What we are living at this moment will turn into another dot, connected to the future that we will be living. From what we have learned there will be directed ways in how we should live and we can always relay on the gospel from time to time. Thank you for your video

Silly question, but I will ask it, What do you consider rest? Is there a resource or book on it? What does rest look like for me as a father of two boys ages 4 and 6 that are constantly on the move and want to play and wrestle? What would rest look like for me in my season of life?

Idk Jon, I think the day does matter. Its a weekly appointment that God has set to meet with us. I understand God is always with us but even more on the Sabbath. How effective would our appointment be if we met on at a Starbucks, me on Saturday and you on Sunday? Not only that, worshipping on Sunday is a commandment of the emperor constantine. His aim was to merge paganism (sun-day/sun worship) and Christianity (the Sabbath) so he made a law "changing" the Sabbath. This was prophetic according to Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws:" Only one of the ten commandments, deals with time, the Sabbath. We are returning to that. Where we will be forced to worship on Sunday or else we will be considered "judaizers". God be with us and give us the fruits of the spirit. (@Jon Great video series on the fruits of the spirit 😁) 💙

@@matthewsandia I agree with you that the ideal is for all of God's people and God's creation to rest on the same day. I think that is when we will see the true goodness of the sabbath. That's a big, long time, eventual goal and prayer. For now, my hope is that folks would commit to this rhythm in any way as a starting place to move towards that.

@@JonJorgensonVideos I wish the same for the world as you do, brother. I appreciate your heart to feel as if you carry the burden of saving the world as I feel the same. Glory to God right? There are many times where God commands very strange but specific things. The blind washing his eyes , the lepper dipping in the river 7 times, marching around the city 7 times, don't cut your hair or else you lose your strength, don't eat of this one fruit out of all the fruit of the whole world. Worshipping on Sunday is going against God's command and deviating from His specific orders. I went to go see the channel you made a shout out to in this video, "I'm listening"- with Justin K. Awesome guy by the way. I was watching his interview with chico his barber. There was a point chicos testimony where it seemed that he was going to find Christ and God but he went on to express a New Age world view. I thought it was great how Justin handled the situation and later addressed it in a follow up video. Justin was disappointed and wanted to tell chico that he was wrong and wanted to steer chico in the right way but Justin, at the point of frustration, decided to take the back seat and leave chico in God's hands. This is what we must do with and for each other. Be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But never forgetting that if the heart is sincere, God will draw His own sheep with "Bands of Love" hosea 4:6. The best we can do for each other is to leave each other in the hands of God and pray that God give us eye salve to discern the truth, wherever it may lead. Where we see no way for God's people, He can make a way like the splitting of the red sea. We just have to pray that not our will be done but God's. Love you brother. Thank you for responding. God bless you my friend.
