It is not the only submarine battle In 1971, Pakistan launched a seemingly undestroyable submarine to destroy India's only aircraft carrier INS VIKRANT INDIAN NAVY also launched a submarine to protect VIKRANT India was successful to protect INS VIKRANT.

Actually... This is not the only battle fought. An Indian submarine and a pakistani submarine in 1971..this battle was very intense and the Indian submarine somehow managed to fire torpedos while defending itself.. The indians sank the pakistani submarine... The pakistani lost that battle so they mentioned that the battle never took place.. The pakistani were very ashamed so they told it was all a lie... Hence many people think it was just a story... But it was not.... So technically more than one battle between submarines took place...

A much more interesting fight was fought in bay of bengal between submarines of india and pakistan named INS KARANJ and PNS GHAZI respectively During indo-pak naval war in 1971 in which Indian submarine INS Karanj (S21), destroyed the Pakistani PNS Ghazi when it ventured into Indian waters to destroy INS Vikrant on the shores of Visakhapatnam. Kindly cover that too

No it is not. As Pakistan navy still claims that its flagship submarine was sunk due to technically reasons (which sounds quite a fallacy) and indian navy gives the credit to ins rajput(a destroyer). It doesn't count as a underwater battle. Read the facts and not the movies.

But there also was a submarine battle between one of the five Finnish submarine and a Soviet submarine Edit: this is on Wikipedia: On 5 November 1942, Vetehinen rammed the Soviet submarine ShCh-305 in the Sea of Åland and sank it. According to Vetehinen crew members, she was on a night patrol searching for Soviet submarines, which stayed underwater during daytime but usually came up during the night to recharge their batteries. A contact was found, and after confirmation of an enemy contact Vetehinen launched a torpedo, which missed probably due to being fired at too short distance. Vetehinen then opened fire with its deck guns. A second torpedo also missed, but the deck guns managed to damage the Soviet submarine which by then had started an emergency dive. The Captain of Vetehinen, determined not to let the submarine escape, ordered his submarine to ram the other vessel which at last was a success - the "teeth" on the bow of the ship ripped open the Soviet submarine's hull and caused it to sink. Vetehinen suffered a minor leak from the impact but managed to return to its home port.[9]

although almost all of u boats were far more advanced than allied subs which almost outnumbered allied subs by 100 to 1 really the only reason that it lost was because of pure luck and that it was specialy designed to carry more cargo so it wasnt as well designed as most u boats at that point of impact the sub would have been fine if it didnt have the mercury drag it down more also it likely wouldve submerged well before the brits could see it if it wasnt modified to carry more and was perhaps a type 31 or really any common types besides a milchcuw then it would have submerged earlier and sunken the british ship just saying
