I can't even take these or them seriously because all these social justice rants and complaints from sjws r for money. The rest who don't see page views as a way to get money well enough think that what they r doing is "purifying the world" or making it a "better" place and what i have seen on a typical Homestuck discord server, they act like they don't understand questioning of their ideology or logic if someone from the whole group does that. They invite people to join their "rebellious justice league for world peace" but they only allow themselves hear what they want to hear. All the questions and probable criticism is something they don't want to see at all so they act like they don't understand them and if someone goes on explaining it, they get harassed, threatened, banned and who knows what. World peace is not going to be a thing. Humans have always and will discriminate others out of fear or hatred or curiosity etc. always no matter what. It has always been a trait and trying to silence it with propaganda isn't going to work in sjws' case.

There was already a Black comic book writer who left Marvel because they only wanted him to write stories on Black superheroes, because to them, only Black people can write Black characters. He didn't want to make stories on just Black superheroes. He wanted to do stories on other superheroes like Spider-Man. He got a call from DC to write a story on Deathstroke, which he accepted because he finally got what he wanted to do: create comicbook stories without focusing solely on race. I'm an author/writer/illustrator and I agree with you. While I think diversity is important to world building I don't think that it needs to be over-stated for the characters. Doing so actually makes the character more shallow and less enjoyable to follow. Great characters are not made to appease any one class of people. Great characters are made to lead us on a journey with rich backgrounds and in depth beliefs or experiences.

I've written diverse characters before - for example, for a SW D20 campaign I wrote a homosexual male who had the background of a circus performer and escaped from Corellia as a teenager with his younger sister as the New Republic descended into a civil war: his sister took shrapnel to her spine during a bombing run that hit way too close to their position, forcing him to care for a crippled relative - he eventually found work on Nar Shaadah as a mercenary for the Hutts, found it quite distasteful but continued in that path because he needed the money to pay for his sister's treatments in the hopes she might one day walk again. During this time, he befriended a female Matukia monk who saw potential in him and decided to train him in the ways of the force - of course, she wasn't really a monk at all but rather a Sith looking to take advantage of his hidden strength and use him to double-team her master later: during their time together, she became completely infatuated with him without being aware of his sexual preferences and made attempt after attempt to "upgrade" their relationship which he refused - this prompted her to go into yandere mode and attempt to kill him while he was watching a "special shipment" for his Hutt bosses. She was killed in the ensuing fight, but the shipment was destroyed - releasing spice everywhere and causing the mercenary to experience an overdose which severely damaged his mental capacity (and effectively switching the roles - as his sister recovered from her trauma she found herself caring for her mentally incapacitated brother instead). Note how this character's homosexual tendencies had little bearing on the character - other than preventing him from being seduced by the female Sith, it doesn't really come up *at all* throughout his story: this is how characters that don't conform to certain norms in society should be written.

This is why Japanese anime is great. For example, in Yu Yu Hakusho one of the main villains named Toguro started out as a villain that was easy to hate. By the end of the Dark Tournament arc though, you understood how and why he got to the point where he is at. When the protagonist Yusuke finally killed him at the end of the tournament (spoilers) you almost kind of felt bad for the once easily hated villain.

10 tips I'd give SJWs for writing fiction (if they ever decide to listen): 1. If it doesn't challenge you in any way, it won't work. 2. Focus on writing your characters as people before race, gender and sexual orientation. 3. Each conflict has more than one side to it. 4. If you want to communicate a message, it shouldn't compromise the story. 5. Do not insult your audience by pandering. That creates propaganda. 6. People will have their own opinions, and some might not agree with yours. 7. Each element in the plot must have a motivation. 8. Whether for good or evil, the characters' opinions must have a solid reason for existing. Do not write strawmen. 9. The characters must end up in a different position than when they began. Otherwise the story is pointless. 10. Each piece requires more than one draft. In other words, don't write your story in one go and expect it to be perfect.

While what you said is right, you forgot the most important thing: SJWs don't even *want* to tell a story. All they want to is to spread their propaganda. To use the example of the thumbnail, one of the many reasons the America Chavez solo was such a disaster was because Gabby Rivera was more interested in letting the world know how much she hates whites and heteros than telling a proper story. The worst part is that America wasn't originally a bad character. Read Vengeance and Young Avengers, she's pretty awesome there, since she's being written by competent writers. It’s also important to point out that most sjw fictional characters are always written to try to show empowerment by making them literally perfect and flawless, and thus deriving them of relatable and understandable conflict other than beat the bad guy. Their victory becomes simply “I beat the bad guy cause I’m strong and fierce and independent”, and pushes itself away emotionally from the general audience who just want a good time and don’t quite want this kind of preaching, and more caters to those who complain about some other characters’ ‘privilege’.

I like Villains i can relate too, I REALLY like Jeckyll-Hyde type of main character. And putting Villain as main character gives awesome results, suddenly evil is no longer so evil. In a good story, there has to be either, likeable villain, with motives you can understand, and feel bad for, or main characters with misty, dark motives, or shady background. You also need a lot of "grey" characters and so on. THIS is what makes story interesting, so you can't make good story If you see only in black and white. Just as *S* ocial *J* ustice *W* ankers.

If you want to communicate something like sexuality or race through writing it's easy. You don't tell them, show them. "The icy air brushed over her paling umber brown skin, pushing her onyx black hair into the wind." It's not hard, I just did it. This scene describes someone walking out into the freezing air. From this small amount of writing we can tell three things. 1. She's freezing. 2. Her skin is umber brown, which tells us she's black. 3. Onyx black should tell you that her hair is black, and is akin to the deep black color of the stone "onyx". I didn't have to say. "Hello! My name is Gracie and I'm black!" You should be able to tell though writing. "Laughing along with her entourage, you would never guess she had the power to take away the last breath of a living being. It just seemed off, if she could joke, flirt, and most importantly *love* another, where was her compassion? As she went to walk hand in hand with the stunningly glowing woman by her side, fear arose in my body. Part of me wanted to tell her, _warn_ her. The words caught themselves in my throat, breaking and burning on their way out. They walked past me, and *I* said *nothing* at all. The real kicker? _She knew_. She knew I saw, because the only response to my bewilderment was a sly, mocking grin." That's all you have to do. What do we know? She's involved with the death of another, maybe more. Her lover is in serious danger. If you didn't know what entourage meant, let me enlighten you! It means a group of people surrounding an important person. So we know she's important. She's apathetic, yet can fake emotions. Sound familiar to a certain mental disorder? Finally, she likes women. There's more I missed, but suffice it to say that you can subtly hint at something in your writing. Now I hate complicated genders, because those are hard to get across, but I can write in a lesbian instead of saying. "Hi, I'm Maria and I'm a lesbian. -I also kinda killed a guy and you'll never know.-" Show, don't tell. You don't have to be grand with it, but if I can write a show don't tell, so can they. You have to communicate it through your writing. Anyone can do it. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY! You CANNOT write a character just for the sake of including a sexuality or ethnicity. Gracie is black, that's her characteristic. Maria is a lesbian, but before that she's a liar, a criminal, and manipulating a woman. Maria is not a lesbian to appeal to men, but she's not a lesbian for the sake of having diversity either. She's a *character*. Also, having a gay man as a villain is not making gay men look evil, the antagonist is EVIL, but he's also gay. That's a trait. Before any liberals kill me. I'm a bisexual woman, and by your definition of "PRIVILEGE, WRRRRY" I have a right to speak about this. Everyone does. If I can write a simple show don't tell in under 30 minutes, anyone can. *They* can, it's not hard.

me, my brother, and a few of our friends are currently writing stories with characters that actually have emotion, goals, are diverse, and people can actually relate to them. but you'll most likely have a feminist or SJW still complain about how are characters are all straight people.

Believing you're always right and inherently superior to your opponents will carry over into your writing and cause you to project onto a bunch of Mary Sue/Gary Stu overidealized, unbelievable, and boring to read characters. I imagine always winning and having no discernable character flaws or errors in judgement will make for a totally captivating plot...

it is common now to not teach only one side in social studies classes in middle and high school. The schools encourage looking at different perspectives. yet people are still unwilling to look or think creatively at all.
