I mean, technically it will work because of low power consumption, but its life span will be impacted seriously by poor cooling.

The only reason for most devices to have cooling (passive or active) is when it runs so hot that it would otherwise burn itself out. Intel's CPUs prior to the 486 (aka 80486) typically were used without a heatsink.

the os is on the sd card and wont work without it the sd card they use cheap sd cards that suck and die easy get a new sd card and put the cfw on it will run much better

You need to address the things that matter. The thing that is most important you don’t even touch on: the lag that is programmed within the game stick to give slower response to hitting buttons on the control. I don’t understand how so many people giving reviews of this don’t touch on this subject and if they do, they briefly mention it as if it is a minor problem. By the way the lag time on the controls is not coming from the controller, the stick is programmed with wrong times for the games. I bought a gamestick then bought a ps4 controller with the power cable hooked up to the game stick and it’s still the same reaction time. It seems like many of you making videos of the review of this product copy each other to a certain degree and whatever originality that you put is basically at a subpar level. Really, stop copying from other people’s reviews, approach this from your own lens and really analyze what are the major issues with the game stick.

I asked Ampoun to send me a new game card through Amazon to replace the broken one they shipped and they sent me a working replacement, along with a few goodies, so that was nice of them. I'd like to be able to back up the card easily but the card is not fully readable on my pc. This isn't the same thing as the Gamestick Lite but its one of the very similar ones.

It is great to hear they send the replacement. In the end doesn't solve the solutions. Because also that one can be come corrupted if it's the same quality 😅

It can work on a monitor and a tv basically. All you need is to plug the gamestick in any device i dunno but it may also work in laptops

All SD cards supplied with these game sticks are the poorest quality and fail very soon. Back it up and replace with a known brand asap after purchase.

the lite edition is garbage! I bought a 4k game stick deluxe version I think its the d9 or D90 model. I own both and the lite version blows at playing pax games the deluxe version plays ps1 flawlessly. the lite is impossible to read or add files off the micro sd card
