A lot of people have never watched someone in pain die, and it shows.

The problem isn't so much having this option, it's that now their offering it for people that are not dying of chronic painful illness and it is of the doctors discretion. This is the issue.

Look guys, death is not pretty. I work in senior care. When you are palliative you will be given so much hydromorph all you're doing is breathing until you slowly wither away. It is a sad and unflattering process. The problem with MAID is how relatively easy to get, our being offered to veterans or homeless. That's not okay. But I can see it in some circumstances as a necessary evil for people to be able to choose for themselves. Bodily autonomy.

If anyone out there needs it, there's a mindfulness book called 30 Days to Overcome Suicidal Thoughts by Harper Daniels.

When I listem to this person ( I find it difficult to call her doctor) I recall Tolstoy’s book in which he wrote about unbearable suffering…. unbearable for the family This is not what medicine was made for

So dr death wasn't getting hugs or gratitude from the aborted fetuses so she switched to government assisted suicide? That's all kinds of fubar that is.
