Team Reese is traveling again! We took a 7 day holiday cruise on the Carnival Celebration and as usual, we chose a balcony cabin for our stay. I think the biggest complaint I hear about the newer ships is how small the cabins are. If you guys get a chance, try the cove balconies. They are enclosed and more private

Yea I was ok with the size of the cabin but that bathroom was super tiny. Definitely want to try a cove balcony! Wanna try aft balcony too

I did not like how the juices would close down and then u have to go find the nearest food spot that was serving food to get the juices😢 such a big ship I'll stick to the smaller boats 😅

This was a surprise to know this was a balcony room especially how small it seemed lots of space for stuff but not alot of space for the people! And the non privacy would be an issue thanks for bringing us along Family take care enjoy your trip!

Great room tour, the bathroom is small but at least there's no shower curtain. The lighting looked great but yes very small. Loving all that counter space and the number of outlets that are available. Nice balcony view, but no privacy. great room fam!

Those tiny bathrooms are disrespectful! Not you calling to remind them that you have a gold card 🤣🤣🤣. That seat would be a lot better if it had a back. We hate the lack of balcony privacy, but we still love the Excel class ships. Great video, fam!

Great room tour. I think they swapped the bathroom size for glass shower doors. The lack of privacy on the balcony, yeah, that is not great but I am sure you enjoyed the cruise anyway.

These new room amenities are something else, whole kids included now! 😂. I’m not sure if this is a new category, but we’ve sailed on smaller Carnival ships and the balcony cabins weren’t designed like this so I’m thinking it’s unique to Excel class. I don’t like it 😂

Hey Keke. Seems like the rooms are spacious on these new ships but the bathrooms are challenge. The Ascent the only one that looks a decent size. Off the topic but Rj soooo tall. Yes Keke. Prefer a chair 🪑 with back support. These storage ottomans kill my back. Like there is a USB on both sides of bed. Your extended balcony is huge compared to most. Thanks for the tour. The privacy or lack of a good point.

It’s such a small room and bathroom. The previous Carnival cruise I was on had more room. Geez. Oh no!!! The balcony was hilarious. Nah fam! Who designed this ship? I agree the balcony design is not it. I’d have to get an OV or a suite or something else, lol. 😮Great room tour though. Looking forward to the series.

Yea it’s like the bigger these Carnival ships get the smaller the bathrooms and elevators get. It’s crazy. And nah we weren’t feeling that balcony at all. We normally spend a lot of time on the balcony but not this time. I like my privacy 🤣. Thanks for watching!

It is the type of balcony we had on Costa Smeralda, since we got an upgrade from oceanciew we thought the world of it. We would not care about people looking. Well - until we learned that on Costa you are allowed to smoke on balconies. We were surrounded by smokers on all the balconies around, above, underneath. 🤮 The only people that didn't smoke were next door, but they had the most screaming kid on the world. About 18 months old. No night sleep possible, that kid would scream EVERY night for hours - the parents couldn't care less ! So we were unlucky with balcony and stateroom in general. 🤷🤷🤷

Omg smoke on the balcony had to be miserable 😩. I would be so unhappy, I cannot stand the smell of smoke! I have learned how to tune kids out 😂 but crying all night, I’m sure that sucked too. Sorry you had a bad experience. Hopefully the next one will be better!

The carnival celebration as a whole was a disappointment. The leader deck buffet was terrible. The main dining room food was terrible. The only thing we ate while we were on the celebration was big chicken, which was awesome guys burgers which was awesome the Italian restaurant oh my God was awesome. Don’t waste your time in Chang. It was terrible their signature steakhouse. They should’ve paid me to eat there. I don’t know what carnivals doing differently when it comes to preparing food, but they completely sucked the big dog on that one and I was on a cruisetwo weeks ago and the food was nasty

Omg the food was not great when we were on either. Emeril’s was the only restaurant we thought was absolutely delicious. And of course Guys, Big Chicken, Blue Iguana - those never disappoint. But the Italian restaurant was awful, Chibang was decent but we waited forever for our food, buffet and main dining were mediocre at best. It was not good!
