Why Aloy's English voice actor isn't credited? This character doesn't have an English voice actor credited. Typically, each character's profile mentions their voice actor, but Aloy is an exception. Her voice actor's name (Giselle Fernandez) isn't listed in-game. However, a quick search on Google reveals her voice actor's name. The reason her name isn't credited in the game is out of respect for the original Aloy voice actor, Ashly, from Horizon Zero Dawn. Aloy isn't an original Genshin character but was introduced through a collaboration with that game. The decision not to credit her voice actor aims to avoid any confusion or backlash from fans who might expect the original voice actor.

But the Genshin community sent DEATH THREATS to Kokomi's VA because Kokomi's KIT, HER IN GAME ABILITIES, were wrongly presumed to be bad... I don't blame her, Allegra Clark got death threats because she voiced Acheron in star rail instead of the Va for Raiden, saying stuff like "it's tradition for Raiden vas to be the same across games" even though the only time 2 raidens shared a va is the Chinese voice of Raiden in honkai impact and the Chinese version of Raiden in genshin

It's 3 games actaully. GGZ, honkai impact and genshin all carry the same jp and chinese va. The other 2 games do not have English or Korean va so I don't even know why fans are mad.

Another one that I've always been curious is the og voice actor for Anji in Guilty Gear Strive. The dude didn't even have a photo on BTVA. It's completely fine I just thought it was interesting. He'd go on to be replaced by Aleks Le and they sound damn near exactly alike so it was a great call. Always was curious as to who he was, but I hope he's doing well.
