Ankur, very engaging conversation. Enjoyed it. I am living in Germany past 24 years an fully concur with your experience, thoughts and views. Only difference my wife is German so little bit different experience. For most Germans in-particular small cities, Germany is still a paradise (read social system advantages or false sense of security making them less risk averse and relatively less competitive reflected in their current crisis) and on top the thinking that Germany is the World.

Lot of things put in a very practical way neatly! Although I don’t fully agree with some aspects like limits on workhours, strict rules in the society, which is what makes Germany unique. Like you said, Germany need not exactly follow what US does etc., right? Yet, overall quite an insightful video👏🏻👏🏻!

very true.. not easy to make friends here, i live here since 1999, not happy to say no good friends, even after 25 years, its too rigid, too superficial, too racial discriminations, and now its even worse, with immigrants being intolerant, so the rules will change for immis!

Indian cities have become very insular, people in gated communities socialize within own groups, including professional groups.

Living in Germany for 20 years now. Germany's future looks bleak, social exclusion is a major challenge, unless you become proficient in German you can't function in Germany. Social security contributions are high, for example with 1.8 contributors for every 1 claimant the Ponzi pension scheme might implode, it used to 6:1 in 1960s

In most mono language countries it's natural to require learning the local language. DOnt go if you can't.

@nmo3148 language aside, German Govt is seeking skilled workers to fund their Ponzi Pension, Healthcare and Social security handouts. And those who are contributing now most likely won't get Pension when they retire! It's a case of implosion of fat Outsized welfare state.

Caste system in India is long gone. Only few very backward communities practice it. In cities it is totally absent. Caste system in India is not a proper metaphor for racism in Germany which is superincumbent in Germany.
@dreamingontwowheels9572
@dreamingontwowheels9572 4 ай бұрын
You are so wrong in this statement. The caste system still exists and is rampant across India. Still, people call North East people as Chinese, so cut the crap. We all know what South Indians think about North Indians as vice versa.
@sandeepsahoo8743
@sandeepsahoo8743 4 ай бұрын
I guess your opinion is as far as possible from reality. Caste system is still there at large. Of course there have been development in that direction, yet it's evils are still intact in all over the country baring the big cities you can say.

Why is the case in Germany? It has do with Christian ethics...India lacks it.
@gautamdesai7648
@gautamdesai7648 4 ай бұрын
The Religion ethics you are asking about is kinda of rooted in the law too as it's Europe. Further they just modernized the same law for other religious beliefs As immigration took place on larger scale. India is diverse and not a single religion country where everyone practices Thier belief's in harmony the ethics are something personal and can't be imposed as a whole. So compare wisely my friend.
