Why This Scientist Became a Practising Catholic

In this show, Dr. Marco Fasoli who holds a doctorate in Biochemistry from Cambridge University, gives an account of his journey from living a God-less and materialistic life to entering into a deep relationship with the God of the Roman Catholic Church. After receiving a grace-filled experience which opened his heart to a world beyond the purely material, Marco embarked on an unbiased scientific analysis of all the major philosophies and religions, with the maxim "I will go wherever the evidence takes me" at the forefront of his mind.
Marco explains the reasons why he arrived at Catholicism, and provides beautiful evidence for the veracity of the Catholic Faith. Although his scientific and rational study led him to see that the Catholic Church is the only true Church, he only came to embrace this Truth in all its splendour through an act of faith which was gifted to him by God.
This interview brings to light the beautiful harmony which exists between faith and reason.

Intellectual suicide is what has happened. Man is by nature religious. Every single nation, tribe, and people has worshipped a god. This shows that man yearns for true purpose, since there is no purpose to life if we die and there is no afterlife. Why does man yearn for immortality? Because it is possible to gain eternal life.
