The league is just getting better at what is considered as elite these days. Shooting, playmaking, and defense. PG is really good in two of these categories, but so is guys like Draymond Green who is also not a #1 option on his team, or any team. His shooting gotta get to the next level, so is his defense and playmaking. If he can do all 3, of course he would be considered all-NBA. thank you. you're one of the first people i've listened to to have a logical opinion on this. people want to act like westbrook always has to do everything on his own, when it's been one season. if he didn't wanna share the ball with kd, why the hell is he gonna wanna share it with pg13? a lot of people also forget that both of their teams were projected to be at least to 5 seeds and they both did nothing. pg13 should be the 1st option...smarter with the ball and a better shooting percentage...but he'll likely take a backseat and let westbrook shoot 30% until he needs him to score, so he can get his 10th assist or something.

Your analysis of Westbrook in the post season is completely wrong, especially recently. In the 2016 WCF game 6 both Durant and Westbrook were horrible but A) Durant was worse in that game yet gets less criticism and B) Russ played better than Durant that whole playoffs. Not to mention last year against the rockets where the team was 51(!!!) points worse off per 100 possessions when he wasn't on the court. In my opinion the turnover issues were exasperated by having to try to force the ball to Durant in late game situations
