Tinder blew onto the online dating scene like a whirlwind, and since then it has become a part of our day to day dialogue.
But behind the tinder experience is a sinister dark side that teaches men and women to distrust the opposite gender by confirming their deepest and darkest fears about each other.
In short, Tinder is ruining dating for both men and women by making them distrustful and neurotic.
What most guys should be doing is leaving Tinder for good and instead building their confidence and social skills so they can start meeting women in real life.

I tried Tinder when I was single. It was a nightmare. Im a completely accomplished man and it was impossible to get a match. And the few girls i was able to meet they were dating several guys at the same time. It was a nightmare. I ended up hating women and thought they just wanted my mooney. Did met my wife on match... Tinder is a waste of time.

@S D A lot of men get close to no matches so they lower their standards. Then they still don't get any matches so they lower their standards again and again until they are swiping right on litteraly everyone. What do you think happens to one's self-esteem when this happens? This is what happened to me. I swiped right on everyone (even women who have clearly let themselves go) for weeks and I got 2 matches that quickly unmatched me after I said hello. This app made me feel like the ugliest person alive. I feel like I am not the only one who has had this experience.

The other infuriating side of all this is that the developers of Tinder will probably never implement solutions to these issues because, financially, it's actually in their best interests to keep people unsatisfied, keep them flaky and keep them swiping, if they make more genuine connections than flaky unfulfilling ones then more people leave the app, which means they lose out on advertising revenue and in app purchases. There's no incentive for them to fix any of this, there's actually more incentive for them to make it worse for the dating scene.

If you dont understand why there is an issue here than you are as blind as a bat being escorted by Helen Keller. False self of self esteem means they have too much self esteem (which is absolutely a thing) and it makes them value themselves to the point where they think they are worth more than the same value. Whether you like it or not, humans are valued on certain levels based on society's views on whats valued. Its really not that hard to grasp. When you have a significant portion that think they are too good for people that are equal to them on the dating market then you have a significant portion of men that are being basically thrown in the trash because their value doesnt match the portion that they are supposed to match with. man, I have no idea more what to do. There are lots of dating channels out there saying that cold approach isn't worth it because you will have to approach a hundred women before finding someone worth it. Then there are others channels saying that the best way to find girls is by a circle of friends (a friend know someone and introduces her to you) And then there are channels saying that you should go on tinder because it's less work. My god guys, I just want a girlfriend. Those channels make it look harder than getting a phd in math. I'll just cut all this bullshit, start working out and focusing on my career and see what will happen

Internet is oversaturated with peoples views on dating. Keep it simple, you see a girl you like go up and talk to her. Tell her you like her, maybe she will be flattered, maybe she wont, in that case just be friends with her and find another girl that will like you back. Dont over complicate this, dont leave the game either. To quote Hank Moody from Californication "A morning of awkwardness is better than a night of loneliness."

Approaching a hundred women doesn't take very long if you do a few every week. Imagine if you approached just one girl every day, that means in about 3 months you will have hit your target, and after those hundred approaches you will be much better at it than when you started. In comparison, swiping on Tinder a few thousand times doesn't give you anything at the end of it because you get very few interactions with girls (if any). I'm on the same boat as you, Tinder did not work for me at all and my friend circle are almost exclusively guys. I have watched some cold approach videos and am starting to do it myself. It's not easy, but it's definitely worth it not just for getting the girls but for becoming a more social person in general. Have a look at this day game beginner guide - kzbin.info/www/bejne/h162lpueYt53Y8U - the instructions are easy to follow and for supplementary material I recommend this channel: kzbin.info/door/xJiYMtouGpvAdeZyZoHGZg

Online dating has definitely made me view women in a more negative light. After a man writes well thought out messages to women letting her know that he read her profile, liked what he read, and expresses interest in getting to know her better only to be completely ignored seriously dampers a man's enthusiasm. Then there is that OK cupid study that shows that women only find 20% of the men attractive really makes me feel that women are not worth the effort to date them. Women have seriously over valued themselves in the dating scene going after the top 20% of the guys and then wonder why those guys don't want to commit, settle down, and be monogamous when 80% of the women are chasing them.

While the stats in that okcupid study are definitely correct, they are an 'all else being equal' equation - meaning if a woman knows nothing else about you, then the looks equation comes into play. BUT the second an average looking guy for example has sexual confidence and is great at banter, suddenly he's sexy. Do some research into 'Female Sexual Plasticity' Women very quickly learn to be turned out by lots of different stimuli, so if a guy has features the turn her on other than his looks, he'll quikly seem sexy to her.

@@SchoolOfAttraction I know that 'game' is important for a man, while all a woman needs is to look good. The quality of women I meet in real life is definitely better than tinder. The irony is, I wouldn't be successful with these women on tinder. Such is the power of context and circumstance. On tinder, I would be judged as not having a good enough job, being a player, being too old, not having the "right" pictures, not having a clever enough blurb or clever enough text banter, etc. etc. To me Tinder is more escapism than anything else. It's fantasy. So much of tinder happens in the participants' heads'. In that regard, I liken it to entertainment. It really is a form of entertainment more than a means of building actual relationships. You put on the movie / episode and when you're done, you turn it off. All the contextual signals tell you it's not real, so of course people are going to act differently.

Tinder makes relationships very shallow and it can make your life worse even when you "succed" at it. On top of that it can consume massive amount of your time and energy.

I totally agree with you and I have come to the exact same conclusions! So thanks for the video, it's motivational to see someone with more experience in the dating scene have the same conclusions. I stopped using all online dating around the middle of 2018, and I'm glad I did because it had really messed with my self esteem. I was almost starting to believe that I was just a very unattractive and undateable person, and that all women care about in men is that they look like models. But I realized that was an irrational belief and statistically it just doesn't make sense. So anyway I recently started making more of an effort to meet women in real life that I find attractive, although I'm pretty much a complete beginner at it, due to missing several years of experience in it as a result of online dating! But of the women I've talked to in person so far, every single time it has been a completely different and far more positive experience than Tinder. So yep, happy to move forward like this and forget about Tinder. Also I love how many people comment things that completely disregard your explanation of the problem and continue to blame women, it's amusing. Like the logic just went straight over their heads. Kinda sad at the same time though that they've gotten those misconceptions that deeply ingrained.

It's necessary to understand what Tinder is for. Tinder IS for hookups and casual dating. It's not for serious dating or for finding a relationship. If people won't put in some effort writing a bio and messages, are they really going to put effort into a relationship? People looking for serious relationships should be using Zoosk or Match. One positive thing: one can work on oneself, get better. It is true, the last 2 girls I dated are flat out gorgeous, met them in person. Would we have matched on Tinder? Highly unlikely, I’m not good looking enough, yet I was more than good looking enough in person, they both pursued me, and I have no game whatsoever. The last one had over 1,200 likes. I don’t match girls anywhere near this attractive on tinder. A lot of guys come away from their experience of tinder with their self esteem at rock bottom as they’ve believed all their life that they’re reasonably attractive and yet can barely get a single match. Basically, tinder is causing men to underestimate their attractiveness and women to overestimate theirs. If you’re a guy on tinder, remember, an 8/10 guy has the same match rate as a 3/10 girl, that’s been confirmed. Don’t be so downhearted if your experience of tinder has been a negative one, it’s not reality and it is distorting your perception of it.

Wrong. All men ARE like that, AND all women ARE like that AS LONG AS THE SOCIAL CONDITIONS ALLOW IT. Men and women will always be as self-centered as conditions allow, and Tinder just so happens to allow the top 10-20% of men and the top 80% of women to behave without any consideration of others. And I love it, even though I’m not in the top 20% of men. Tinder allowed me to see how women HAVE ALWAYS WANTED to behave. It has been very liberating to be shown female nature, what women desire, and what to expect when they have no societal constraints; like when she divorces because she isn’t “happy”, and the courts hold her accountable for nothing like an entitled princess. Nope.

I am currently going through divorce and just for laughs I decided to check out a few dating sites and apps. What I have found is there are single women in their late 20's and early 30's with kids whose expectations are outrageous. For example 90% of these women expect that the man be 6 foot tall or more, income over 45k, never married, no kids or that their kids not live with them, expect that he is left wing politically, and that he put her and her kids above all else. I am sorry but these are unrealistic Disney princess standards. This is partly why men are distrustful of women. Oh and meeting women in a bar, that's a mess of it's own. In my early 20's the kinds of women I typically met in a bar were either A) seeking a guy to pay for their drinks or B) seeking a quick hookup for the night. A man is more likely these days to find a more quality woman in his place of employment (can end badly if the woman was falsely presenting herself). But there are signs to watch out for in women period, just as there are signs women should be wary of in men. Internet dating, Disney, bad parenting, and feminism have played equal roles in creating a toxic dating scene for men and women. Disney for portraying relationships as wonderful and without struggles, bad parenting for instilling narcissistic traits in people, internet dating for exploiting the lonely for profit, and feminism for painting men in a terrible light using the .1% of terrible men as the standard of all men. We currently live in times where misinformation makes up about 55-65% of the information we receive. And dating advice is perhaps the worst offender as far as misinformation, 80-90% of it is simply bad. Women should never receive advice on men from other women and men should never take advice on women from either men or women (as in all likelihood the man or woman they are taking advice from has an ulterior motive, i.e. woman has crush on man or man has crush on woman man is trying to ask out).

Ok, but what is the correlation between a woman being in her late 20s/early 30s with kids and her having the standards you listed?

@@blueblaze9862 if you had read what I posted you would have found that my opinion on the ridiculously high standards women have do not come from age or having kids. But, in my opinion, have come from Disney, bad parenting (parents referring to their daughters as "princess"), magazine articles (often written by bitter lonely women), and feminist indoctrination. Basically what I am saying is through these sources women are told that they deserve nothing short of a deity and that men are not allowed to have standards, which is quite the double standard from where I see it.

Women would rather be on spot number 23 of the booty call list of an alpha male, then have a loving relationship with an average guy.

So from my own experience, I have a MUCH easier time with women in person. Its actually incredible. Ive suspected its less to do with looks and more to do with periphery values, like posture, mannerisms, etc. Based on how many matches i get on tinder, im somewhere in the 8/10 range - enough to get matches but honestly, I only get a fraction of the girls that I do IRL...now if only I could meet girls when I'm at work (in a datacenter). Cant do that without Tinder.

The last place you want to have an intimate relationship is at the workplace. I am being genuine. As cliche as it may sound, I would not recommend mixing pleasure and professionalism. It never ends well. Having said that, It is one of those things you have to experience it to realise it.

If what you are saying is true, women would not waste their time on Tinder at all, because they would long since have learned over time what calibre of guys you're going to get on there. The fact is, Tinder is an online meat market, pure and simple. It's interesting you mentioning that the guys who go on there already have relationships, well I'd surmise the same can be said of women, if not worse on their part. Women get sex a lot easier than men, so my guess is the chances of a relationship is a lot higher on their side, probably stringing multiple guys along. Everyone knows Tinder is a hook up app, it's not for serious dating. It's a cesspit for debauchery, for people to cheat on their partners, or get others ready to line up before dumping. I don't think the app itself is to blame, it's the way society chooses to use it. Women also have cognitive dissonance when it comes to dating men, they will hook up with these guys knowing full well they are likely to be dumped anyway and you assume they go into this naively - they do not. Women are racking up body counts and its customary for them to suddenly want to settle down with a good guy when they are hitting the wall. As long as they are young, they like bad boy dick, it's a simple as that, their moans about no good guys is an utter farce. They aid and abet or gamble passing them up when they're younger and feel they're above them. There is no solution to this problem, because women do not want to solve it. Until they grow up, mature and keep their legs shut only for guys they can build a future with, this cycle is going to be on a never ending continuum, which means misery for everyone.

The solution is a return to patriarchy. Gynocentric societies are not stable and cannot last. Which is what we are now seeing with the end of western civilization and its replacement by a caliphate. Thanks women. Enjoy your new freedom walking around under black tents as mere property.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Personally it's always been my experience that it's easier to meet quality people in person for a variety of reasons, the biggest one being able to craft a profile that doesn't match your real self.

This is a good video, but both the major flaw (as well as the reason why YT hasn't taken it down as "hate speech" yet, I guess) is that it implies that there is no particular gender to blame. In truth, however, it is women who consider the majority of men to be unattractive and compete only for a tiny minority of extraordinarily good looking men. The rest, well, here is the second problem with the video's conclusion (approaching IRL) ... all the men who do NOT belong to this top 5% of attractive male modes are always under threat of being accused of harassment and rape. Women use this Orwellian atmosphere of permanent harassment and rape accusations to keep non-attractive men away from them.

Shouldn't we WANT more women here on this debate? There are so many men who want to blame women for being defective - It's like you haven't noticed how much crap men throw at women and have thrown at women for most of modern history - Totally, women aren't perfect in society, but the guys have a crazy amount to answer for too so it's a bit short sighted to just sit on an armchair and vilify women like we aren't a big part of the problem as well.

Tinder was great the first few years. Now, if you don't have Gold and aren't using boosts, you will barely get any matches since so few women will see your profile and women get such a high percent of matches including with the best looking men on the app despite their own appearance (to an extent) that they swipe right on a very low percentage of men. Superlikes are mostly useless, it makes the person using them seem way too desperate and/or too into someone, which scares many women away. They should have replaced them with something else long ago (basically a superlike without branding it as such and allowing the person using it to send a text with that special like).

How tinder ruins dating for the rest of us is when you try to warm approach or cold approach a woman you get rejected because someone on tinder beat you to the punch.

You have society telling woman since birth that they deserve the best, are beautiful and not be accountable for bad decisions.. Yet society tells boys you should be ashamed for being male and the more female you become the better. Honor and respect woman while accepting abusive female behavior as normal.

It's mens fault. Most of us grew up with fathers who cheated with other women. Most of us grew up watching TV and seeing men calling woman utmost beautiful and running after them with flowers and trying to get them as if they are the most precious prize out there. The more men cheat and have sex outside marriage, the worse the feminism will get.

I totally agree, the attractivness of women I could meet offline is far better. But it takes soooooo much time, especially if you're looking for long-term relationships. I mean if you approach girl on the street she could look beautiful but she could smoke or drink too much. For me personally it's not a good girlfriend material. In dating apps you have brief outline of personality and wouldn't waste your time but it seems like majority of good girls don't use them. And clubs and bars are not the great places to find "good girls" either. Sometimes you could find a really great ones near universities And if you or any other subscibers know some other places or ways, I would be greatful to hear them.
