Online Dating VS Cold Approaching

I hear a lot of debate about whether online dating or cold approaching is a better way to meet women. Often times guys sit in one camp and hurl abuse at the other.
But in truth, when it comes to meeting girls, both can be great strategies but they do have their own pros and cons.
Sure you could invest time in both, but the truth is that you'll eventually need to invest your time in just one way of meeting women.

One female perspective - cold approach is so rare that you will stand out and your personality can shine in a way that it doesn’t online. Women are picky online with looks due to the nature of it. I’d say just smile first and see if she smiles back.

Cold approaching means facing fear of rejection. I highly suspect most guys do not do this because of this fear.

I would rather approach an attractive young woman in real life than dating online. See what works for yourself. I like the feeling of talking to a real person. Also, the easier the process, the harder the competition.

Agree, the both have pros and cons, personally, prefer a cold approach because you know what you are getting from the get go and online, due to some many dudes, they have inflated egos. Getting an 8 or 9 is so much harder.

As a 42 year old, I still see cold approaching as the better option to online dating. The best option would be social circle, but that well can run dry unless you're very active socially.

I used to do online. I did have some great relationships from it but I’ve been cold approaching the last couple months. Nothing solid yet but I enjoy the adrenaline rush the euphoric feeling of accomplishment. I’ll get my first success very soon. I’ll still keep online as a supplement because I do believe in casting a wide net. But I will never use online as my main vehicle ever again. Start cold approaching.

I’m middle aged and use cold approach. There are always plenty of women in all age groups that are breaking up with boyfriends and getting divorced. There’s an ample supply available-you have to be persistent and hunt them down.

First off, thanks for this great video! I’m really surprised other people haven’t made videos like this. You explained it very well. I have been using online dating for a very long time and haven’t had great success because of a lot of the factors you mentioned. I am a good looking guy but I am definitely not photogenic. This has made online dating for me very hard. Women respond to me a lot better in person. Even on Instagram I struggle to get likes cos my photos suck haha. I haven’t made much of an effort with cold approaching. Never tried approaching a girl in the street during the day. I want to try it for sure. Mastering up the courage at the moment. I think cold approaching suits me better. Thanks for this awesome video again though! This helped a lot. Thanks :)

As far as online dating goes, I think it really depends on where you live. I've been doing online dating for well over a decade and never had success. Maybe 3 dates and one short term thing. No matches on Tinder ever. It really eats away at your confidence. Maybe if you live in an area where there's a LOT of people and hence women, and/or you're very handsome, it might be the holy grail of dating but for just barely average guys like me who don't live in a major city, I think it does more harm than good. That's the experience I've had anyway.

I want to learn cold approaching in the real world because I'm not highly attractive enough to work well on dating apps. My current issue is where to go, I've started doing classes at my local gym and they certainly have a lot of women in them
