I loved it when Bryan Alvarez recently said that this whole Bound for Glory situation would be an entire chapter should he write a "Death of TNA" book.

Alvarez is full of shit, if he had actually watched the tapings he'd see it's a far better wrestling product than World Wrestling Food Fight. Results are one thing, matches are another. More chair shots and tables broken in the last week, than the past year of WWFF. Another point, Bischoff could never have afforded to pay Hogan after WcW.

I was thinking the same listening to this bit, one of the best clips I've heard on this channel all this year. TNA got 5-6 weeks to start over completely, come up with a good long term plan will be effective & can be executed well.

This upcoming TNA Bound for Glory lacks that TNA main PPV feel. I like a TNA vs NJPW cross brand "One Night Only" show.

Mainly this yr and last yr TNA really hasn't had real PPV's they been Giving away their PPV's on Spike which is pretty stupid since they were still making money with there PPV's (Definitely not as much as WWE ) but it was a little money Generated

Like it or not, it seems that, regardless of how fucked his business may seem sometimes, Vince McMahon is apparently the only one who can have a wrestling company.

I have a question for you guys Why hasn't TNA getting or got CM Punk's contract and alberto del rio contact? As well why don't they do what Eric Bischoff did when he ran WCW by dipping into WWE's locker room and retrieve Randy Orton because these three wrestlers would be TNA's saving grace to their company especially if they got rights to CM Punk since he has left WWE back in March earlier this year prior to Wrestlemania 30h because to me that would given TNA its edge or balls back especially if a disgruntled CM Punk showed up to Impact and dropped one of his famous Pipebombs about WWE because I think it would help TNA get back to its once prominent position they were in before wasting their money and resources on having a long term deal with Hulk Hogan because it end it up devaluing and cost them almost their company to forever close if they are not force to close their doors later. so note I think it would be good for business as Triple H would say if Tna got or bought CM Punks contract because TNA is making a missed opportunity by not capitalizing and getting CM Punk contract wouldn't you all agree with that fact i stated?

Punk was in TNA before he arrived in WWE. They didn't do what he wanted, so he left and hates them now.

Here is what I see is the problems with TNA. You can agree or disagree. 1) The name. TNA was a joke name to begin with. For those who don't know it stands for Tits And Ass 2) The current network they are on. TNN/SPIKE TV are not promoting the brand like USA network is doing. Hell, USA network dropped the dog championship or something JUST to have WWE back. SPIKE TV has TV14 rating for Impact but only does to a PG setting 3) New takeover every other month. Storyline wise, there is a power grab for control of TNA. Who was it 3 months ago isn't who it is today 4) Be considered a vacation until they can get back to WWE. This applies to Hogan, RVD, Booker T, etc. Only Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley have proved themselves loyal to the brand so far. 5) DIXIE Carter on TV. She's not that bad but the content that comes out of her mouth sucks. She would blab about not needing Stepanie McMahon or Triple H when she is clearing not making a profit. YES she does need somebody like them. A lot of times the owner nowadays would get beaten up on TV, but you really can't do that ON SPIKE with Dixie. 6) Dixie Carter as a owner. Things were going good with Jeff Jarrett as owner but when Dixie stepped in she took it and ran it like a fanboy instead of a business owner. 7) Location. Go and stay in NY or Chicago. They love wrestling. Stay in Orlando and get tourist, people who aren't loyal to the brand. 8) Not building their homegrown talent. People complain that WWE never grows former WCW talent and this is for good reason at first. When a former WWE guy, say Brooklyn Brawler, comes to TNA, squashes their current champion, defend the title for 6 months, then leaves to go back to WWE...that says a lot about what you think about your current roster. Instead the show should of been built around guys like AJ Styles, Gail Kim, King Kong, ODB, Samoa Joe, Sabin, etc.

I think the TNA initials are fine and the play on the tits and ass kind of works if you are playing to the 18-34 key male demographic (It's easy to chant as well), which is what TNA should have been doing all along since WWE is providing a more child friendly product. That's what WCW started to do when Nitro came on to compete against RAW, which had childish characters. You've still got fans clamoring for the ECW letters, but there is no company on television that provides a relevant product to that audience. I'm not saying they need to go all blood and guts, but getting some attitude back into the wrestlers would make the wrestlers stand out. Shoot some promos in parks and what not like they did with Raven late at night. They need to be start grabbing top independent talent like Adam Cole before WWE swallows them up and renames them in NXT to have any chance. I agree with your point about the WWE guys coming in and beating all the TNA talent. What they should have done was had a few notable WWE guys come in and had them go down to the TNA guys. Think of it in the sense of when Shane Douglas through down the NWA title belt and basically said fuck the NWA, we are ECW. So TNA guys would beat down some cocky notable former stars and say fuck WWE. We are the young, progressive, new generation of wrestling. That way putting their own company and stars on a pedal stool. Dixie off TV as well definitely as you said. If Heyman had come in instead of Bischoff and Hogan, they would be in such better standing. It was a horrible idea to begin with because Hogan and Bischoff 'tried' to make stars in 2000 in WCW with Billy Kidman etc and it went absolutely no where. They were never going to succeed. Sex sells, mature story lines, great wrestling, great characters. That's the combo that draws ratings.
