TBH, there is a legit need for guides for carry and supp. Almost every single time I play supp, I get a carry that either throws or has an utterly insufferable attitude. And when I pick carry, I get a supp that does those exact things as well. Interesting side note: the midlaners are pretty damn consistent in not having a shit attitude.

Topson's described his gameplay as "Disruptive" and not letting the opponent play their game. It's actually one of the more modern mid-player mentalities; a lot of the great mid players over the last 10 years come from DotA's old "3 core" games, where all three cores are like farming heroes. The 4-protect-1 was something that existed even then, but it was for specific heroes, and not so much a strategic way of playing. I feel like the meta today has shifted just because of players like Topson who want to make plays, not farm their items (even though actually farming is more efficient), but how Topson does it has been perfected over so long (seriously for every game he wins, I'm sure he has lost 10 just because of his playstyle), he makes it look easy. It's actually incredible how efficient he is at making plays. Edit: Also Topson almost always skills 2-0-2 and then maxes his tree dance with Monkey King. Some times he'll skill it an even 3-3-3 and he almost never goes ult early. He is basically looking to snowball his hero in anyway possible; if he gets his jingu stacks, he does his usual style of pressuring and killing the enemy mid, but in more passive lanes like Magnus who can just go farm stacks and side camps, he will flash farm creeps and I've even seen him jump to the midlane creeps so they get shoved in faster (and so it has to be dealt with).

1st of all - tango. Common i dont think i have to explain regen to you. Right? Okay. Now he have quelling blade which isnt just common its a must. Its extra 18 dmg on creeps nearly for free. He have the components of a wraith brand which are 2 all stat + 3 agility Its going to be WB anyway very common no questioning here. Lastly, band of the elvenskin. 450 gold for 6 agility. What he actually gets is 6 attack speed 6 damage and as every 7 agi = 1 armor. I believe he had atleast 1 odd agility point which combines with the band and grants him 1 armor. These stats from the band are very close to the old ring of aquila. Yet its half the price. And more than that, he is just going to wrap up this band into a yasha. You might ask why not 10 agility piece first? 1.the price! The blade of alacrity cost 1k gold and provides 10 agi. In quick maths It would be 4.5 agility if its cost was 450 gold. So this item compared to the band is a scam of agility. 2.timings! Youre doing better in net worth than your enemy middle. Now you want to pressure him even more, simply telling him you cant contest me anymore. How you do that? You take advantage of stats. You buy stuff! For example. Mk net is 2k? And magnus is 1.3k, thats a big lead. Only the problem is that youre saving for the 10 agility blade which means your current gold is like 780 (for example) and what happens that you dont actually have the blade yet. And having this gold doesnt make you any stronger unless you actually use it. Which means in terms of net comparement? Substract these 780 gold cuz youre not using them. 2k - 780 = 1.22k which leaves around the same net as magnus. Which also means you are even. You can be contested, and if youve made a little mistake such as standing out of position, getting bad trades, Youre going to be slowly getting pressured by magnus as youre not overpowering him with items. Even tho theoretically you have more net. So you just buy the stats. Youre going to save them for yasha and for now its going to serve you for the laning pressure. Its just a good item, in fact he just leaves it there for a while and just goes for the echo sabre which is much more effective than yasha at the early stages. Before i started to write this comment, i didnt knew this item have so much depth xd. I lowkey impressed myself. As i was thinking on the item through writing this comment. Sorry for the long paragraphs xd

@hankaaineffvble68474 жыл бұрын
one important thing that you missed. he always man fights the opponent at level 1. i think thats like his rule or smt idk. and if you think about it, actually his 100% right. if you're playing melee hero and your opponent is ranged, you have to exchange blows. the ranged heroes will try to harass you anyway. so its better to exchange hits instead of getting harassed and do nothing.

Topson is one of the most agressive player in dota thats why he can be the weakness of his team , he can easily be shutdown. But if topson win his lane he is going to roam around the making space to either his offlane or carry
@Ex0rz4 жыл бұрын
You dont really shut down an aggressive player. Thats the point. You shut down a player thats farming, not someone who is constantly roaming and ganking. He often doesnt even win his lane, he just gets enough levels and starts going around the map killing everybody. Pro tip for all miders: If you lose your lane go win other lanes.
@YangYang-ct2gx4 жыл бұрын
Lol he is the sacrificial player, you shut down him so what?? The carry is still farming lol. Look at ti9 lol, his aggressive playstyle basically rekt any pro teams and they could end the game within 30 or even 20 min if they want.
