Fun fact:toxic brainz can infinitely survive. INSIDE OF THE PLANTS BASE. Thanks to the fact his legend meter brings him to 100hp if he's below it, so, grab a meter and health upgrade and start swinging and you can just fight there. In the plant base. Forever. I've done this before and it's how I got him to master in 12 minutes.

Any time I need to kill a boss I just use toxic brainz and do that strategy. Say didn’t Wolfy use to use the toxic brainz strategy as one of his old outros? That’s how I remembered how I found out about it.

Somethings to mention. You take half damage not 30-40%. The speed boost is indeed 1.5x like someone else said. The meter lasts 15s, same as scallywag. The meter heals you to 50% HP as seen with the health upgrade. Also keep in mind, your most likely to be below half health once you get the legendary meter so you probably won't be able to take full advantage of the armor. goatify can remove the meter which can be considered a con.

Toxic brains actually takes a lot of skill due to how aggressive his play style is and how you need to bait out the plant’s abilities to punch him safely and get the meter, his punches without the meter is not good at all so you need to kill characters like roses(except frost rose) and sunflowers since both characters can’t deal lots of damage to you with the meter only lasting 15 seconds as opposed to the rest of the characters you need to make the best out of it

I do agree with this, yes Most of the time in public lobbies with not good players you could get away with swinging at the air But if you're playing with high max ranks, yes he does become a bit harder to play

Their are only a couple counters i know for beating Toxic brainz , kill him before he gets 10 punches , Any chomper ruins him even in overload. Goatify also ruins toxic overload.

Bro, everyone is calling BASE Chomper skill less, when this guy and fire Chomper exist, I could be using this guy or almost any other Chomper but, I have some dignity. here is a tip for killing these guys. range can't work, low health definitely not work. But since these guys are more brain-dead then Lanky-Box, they will take any bait given, for example, if a torchwood is chilling out, and a sunflower is lasering them, they will go for the torchwood, since he has more health, getting them to the meter quickly, now here your chance! I would use a juicy, meter battery, armor chomper. They can't resist! They will do 1 of 2 things. 1. They will rarely try to toxic beam you, but in case always stay by a cover wall, they have Tik-tok brains and will just run to you. 2. they will waste a turbo twister to you, or kick toward you, forget about any kind of goal they were supposed to do in the match, and will try to punch you. but remember, pretend to be AFK or scared, they are like wolfs, they sense fear and attack. let them get a few hits, maybe chomp a little, they will feel like they are getting a free kill, next, Spike weed. preferably the Vamp-Weed, you will gain the health lost from the punches, and then, you can swallow them in 1-shot from the front, sides, ..and.. ..uh.. you know! You are welcome for the yap session, my friends.

Also just to talk about party brains, toxic brains is better than party brains for the most part due to the power of being a math nerd. Starting with the 100-110 health characters. Both sbs take 2 sets of punches to kill them so they’re equal there, but now we have 125 for peashooters and cacti, where he does 120 after two sets of punches which is how long sb takes, but with toxic damage dealing 6 extra, that’s a dead plant. Corn is where it starts to get interesting, cuz it takes two sets for sb but 2 and 2/3 for tb. You also have 2 and 1/3 set for citron and 3 and 2/3 for tb, and then chomper is also longer but then again no good sb player goes near one in the first place. Torchwood applies to that too since he’s unkillable in close combat Basically, tb is better with smaller plants which ends up being a majority, and sb is better with bigger plants, but with the meta being everyone is a complete scumbag and plays as cheaply as possible with characters like rose and peashooter, tb would probably be better objectivey
