If the symbiote Mulligan died and bonded with was toxin it would not only make no sense but be a total waste of character. When the symbiote piece broke off and bonded with mulligan in venom 2, he had a blueish dark eye with a black iris compared to the green in Venom 3. It is also states in venom three his original symbiote ditched him to die, and they had to bond him with another symbiote. If Sony truely wasted toxin in this film its a shame do to his power.
