FINALLY...instead of someone just looing to "Shit" on us like so many others in the media/fans of other teams do we actually get a: well-thought out, objective, logical and sensible opinion of what is actually most likely to happen with this Satou ordeal. And for those of you who think we are losing sleep over her in Dallas, I assure you we are not, she will move on and most of us in Dallas already have as well! Again....thank you, sir. You have earned my respect and a new subscriber...SALUTE👍

To think that Smith and some picks will get Satou who is at base a top 15 wnba player is insane, she'll most likely go to the Mystics, NY, and LA.
@patricklarson756412 күн бұрын
Dallas doesn’t have a ton of leverage though. Satou has already said she doesn’t want to play there, and she’s played less than 100 games combined in all her seasons in the W. She’s not going to get some huge haul from any team. I’m not disagreeing with your point, I’m just saying that if Dallas is looking to get equal perceived value on Satou the she’s probably going to stay in Dallas and sit out the season like Delle Donne did.

@@patricklarson7564 1 above average role player and 2 1sts is more than fair especially if that team gets a healthy season out of her and she resigns the benefits of trading for her far outweigh the cons.

It's not just injury which is the issue, the 2025 Draft Class is so Loaded, most teams would be smart not to give up their first Round picks. Next year's Draft might be even better.

I completely agree with ur analysis it won’t be easy to trade her unless Dallas gives her away for basically nothing

I think Betnijah Laney-Hamilton and the #7 pick would be the best offer you would get from the Liberty. Moving her big contract would free up cap space to sign Satou too. I just don't see how swapping Betnijah for Satou makes NY appreciably better though so why would you give up your #7 pick for that trade?? The N. Smith and #8 pick might well be the best offer Dallas gets.

Why does every player want out of Dallas (except Arike)?

If fever gets sabatou they in the finals this year. I dont see how you can defend a team where any of the starting five can put up 25 points a night. I dont see fever scoring less than 90 or 100 points a game. I still think that if CC did not injure her eye in game one, fever would had made it to the finals.

From my experience as a long time sports fan, players that can't stay healthy never turn it around and suddenly become durable. We have a big sample size with Satou and she will always be injured. I'd rather give White a year with Smith and see what happens. This is also going to be a guard heavy draft and it's very possible a good power forward will be available at 8.

Stop saying that about Satou Sabally. I think her contract is over with Dallas Wing. They should let her go. She don't want to play for the Wings
@jodale197213 күн бұрын
So 15 games of Sabally is worth more than 8th round pick + Nalyssa Smith + Grace Berger? You started off your video crapping on Satuo and her inability to stay healthy and only breaking 20 games once. I know a lot of fans don't think Nalyssa is any good at all but she does have talent and basically 2 years on Rookie contract. Grace has played really well this off-season over seas and has a very favorable contract. I am at the point of almost talking myself out of this trade for Indiana's sake, not Dallas. I think if the Fever want to try and win a championship this year, they have to get Sabally and then also sign Howard from Dallas as free agent. That would leave them pretty thin on the bench for guards but their bigs should be in really good shape.
@catchnkill13 күн бұрын
Same thinking as you. Fever simply cannot find a way to make the trade without giving out valuable players. A 8th round pick + Nalyssa Smith + Grace Berger is no deal. It will not improve Fever at all.
@patricklarson756412 күн бұрын
This is what a lot of Fever fans aren’t getting, not only the injuries, but it’s more than likely a one year rental. There’s no way I’m giving more than one pre-CBA first round pick as part of the package for her, you could very easily hamstring your franchise for the next 4-5 years if you don’t evaluate these things carefully.
@giizodamulla749212 күн бұрын
@@patricklarson7564 you're here crapping on Fever fans forgetting that Satou can be cored again next year because every player can be cored twice
@patricklarson756412 күн бұрын
Firstly, I am a Fever fan. And secondly, I’m saying this because many fans in these sorts of comments section about this subject seem to have the attitude of either 1. The Fever are guaranteed to get Satou or 2. They should give up anything and everything to get her. What I’m saying is that is the kind of reasoning that leads to you to being the Phoenix Suns as a treadmill franchise. She is oft-injured and likely to be a one year rental, I would be very careful giving up lots of assets (such as two pre-CBA first round picks) when trying to get her.
@catchnkill12 күн бұрын
@@patricklarson7564 Don't sign Satou. When a player is injured prone, it is in her DNA. You cannot do anything. I watch a lot of European soccer. There are players with glass bodies. Despite the best medical team the best trainer and still always get injured, there is just so much science can do. Say Zion Williamson. Say Ben Simmons.
