As an Englishman, I obviously have no personal stake in what's happening across the pond, but even I just feel weary when Trump starts his autopilot, infantile name calling and sniggering about (what he thinks is) his intelligence and superiority. It's no wonder the American public are just plain bored with his endless, mindless drivel. I'm sick and tired of hearing it, and I won't even be voting.

"Saying they're weird is just schoolyard bullying ... Donald Trump is one of the most bizarre human beings I've ever encountered ... I think people do find him quite weird ... we've just been normalized to him haven't we?". OK so which is it? You said it right there as a fact that he is the most bizarre human and everybody finds him weird, so therefore calling him 'weird' is just a statement of fact, right?

I don’t think the energy is there as it was a few years ago and Im convinced he’s only running to keep himself out of prison. I’ve just finished watching the west wing and the last series when Santos is way behind but catches up springs to mind. Vance feels like his version Diane Abbott where she was utterly useless as Home Secretary pick under Corbyns campaign (that’s what I think of) and I just don’t see him winning this. I think the country has moved on from his isolationism and negativity and while Harris has some policy issues I see her and her VPs rallies and they’re filled with so much hope and optimism.

There was no victim so no crime. The trial was nothing more than persecution of a political opponent. Just like the political show trials in Russia and China.Trump hasnt been sentenced yet and i doubt he will be before the conviction is overturned. BTW all the other political prosecutions have fallen apart because the corruption of the justice system has been exposed. The Demonrats used to chant that Trump was a threat to democracy until he took a bullet for democracy. Everything they have tried to stop Trump has failed, but im sure they wont stop trying. I’m an American. You’re not giving our Vice President Harris credit. Her credentials are impressive. As a prosecutor, District Attorney, Attorney General, Senator, and Vice President she has accomplished a great deal including helping to write a tough border bill which trump instructed the Republicans to refuse to pass. She secured money for home buyers, assisted President Biden in passing legislation to greatly reduce the cost of insulin, passed a much needed infrastructure bill, secured money and benefits for veterans, supported the President as he stood with unions and auto workers, saw crime reduced nationally and employment increased, and much more. Do your homework! She has more experience, more integrity, and a more positive outlook for America than trump could ever imagine or care about. trump is a disgusting, disgraceful, dangerous horror. Most of us in this country are embarrassed by him and his minions and definitely do NOT want him representing us in the world!

In addition, Vice President Harris headed a White House Maternal and post pregnancy task force and WILL reinstate Roe V Wade. If critical race theory means our children will learn the true history of America and how many brilliant African Americans invented items the world uses that the inventors never got historical credit for: street sweepers, traffic lights, train alarms, folding chairs, ironing boards, curling irons, automatic gear shift, artificial hearts, and hundreds more. It is so important that we acknowledge and appreciate our history including what President Biden and Vice President Harris have accomplished in these past four years, then our children should know and be proud of these accomplishments. After all they were/are American and President Harris will champion this nation’s inventors and innovators - those who came before us and new generations. She’s a mom. She has the advantage of being of an age where she has experienced the past and can also see the potential for a thriving future with our youth. 💙💙Kamala and Tim!

For Trump to step down, he’d need to acknowledge that he’s destined to lose in Nov. @@evaluateanalysis7974 don’t be dense. The only reason Trump probably isn’t sitting in jail now is because of the massive political apparatus he has to shield himself from accountability. Maybe a better way to say it is, “let him stand trial like any other citizen should.” Whatever happens based upon that court of law is what happens. His whole legal strategy has been to either delay and/or get a judge who’s indebted to him (Eileen Canon says hello).

Saying JD Vance’s comments about the Democratic Party being anti-child « half tracks » is one of the most ludicrous statements in this episode of your podcast. The Democrats have been consistent both nationally and at the state level in enacting child-friendly legislation that Republicans have fought tooth and nail to frustrate. I know the Times has conservative-leaning tendencies but that claim just flies in the face of the facts.

Between September 16 and September 18. That's how it's currently scheduled to proceed. The judge is reviewing the Supreme Court's intervention with contrived "presidential immunity". He committed the offenses BEFORE he was president so that excuse is shaky. Trump is trying to delay sentencing, again, of course. But his prospects of succeeding are slim to none.

It's a black job what does that imply 4 Winfrey plus entertainers who don't live in the real world. 5 it seems many of trump supporters are poor working Americans and that's me colour or gender is not the issue its about policy trump is blustery but probably is ahead on policy so I would lean that way I'm not keen on Clinton Pelosi Michelle Obama Winfrey walz or Harris yet I was very keen on al gore and John kerry. I've learned in my67 years that all politicians are corrupt and lie slogans like hope and change are not actions im not Conservative minded but the Liberal elite are not for me in any country so I guess have to listen and think carefully thanks for your question and forward my respect itis sure to be close.
