I didn’t meet my twin flame until I was 56 and I’m now 65. We only had five years together. He was a cancer survivor and it came back soon after we met. I had premonitions of me pushing him in a wheelchair which I did and was able to care for him at the end. This was very difficult since we live in different countries. Looking back at how we found one another was a miracle and I’m still in grief missing him so much. He’s still so much a part of me and I feel his spirit every day. Our relationship was very difficult but we both knew it was meant to be even though neither one of us knew anything about twin flames. I think Twin Flames can be happy with someone else. But I believe that the connection between the Twin Flames will be always there, it can't be cut. At the End we choose if we can be happy with someone else, and I believe even in relationships, which have no Twin Flame feelings like loneliness can show up unexpectedly. This is normal. A lot of people with codependency issues confuse a twin flame journey with the real thing unfortunately. I like to think of the twin flame journey as something that is extremely rare and often it doesn’t mean you will end up with them. They were a special relationship that facilitated growth for you as an individual. Many people I find in this community are “love starved” and glamorize the twin flame journey. It’s just a thing that happens and the journey isn’t about finding love, it’s about finding yourself.

Although I kept an open mind to meeting someone new while in separation before, it just didn't happen for me. Sometimes I think it would feel really weird to be with anyone else because I have both of our energies within me so I dunno how you add more to that since it's already complete. The love I feel for my twin is unlike anything I have ever experienced in my entire life. This is definitely so extremely unique. Even though we are not together now, I feel him every day as if we are already together. And no matter what happens, my strong feelings of love never dimish, they just grow. I have felt our past lives together when I met him and I have seen a future vision of us getting married as well. Separation stage is great for Self Love & Growth. You really cannot go wrong if you keep working on you. I trust the universe and I have very strong faith & I believe everything happens for a reason. My twin ran away, he went back to an ex and got engaged, but ever since he left, I still felt it wasn't supposed to be that way. In my deepest soul I feel like we belong together. I get a lot of signs and syncs.
