I think you nailed it with this video, vsc is extremely difficult to dethrone because it has very compact difficulty, (basically as difficult as a top 10 even though it's barely 15 seconds long), so verifying something harder than it that also fits into the challenge list length requirements would be extremely tedious and frustrating. Also you gotta consider that when vsc was verified the hardest level was tartarus, so saying that it was way ahead of its time would be a massive understatement.

The worst part about people who actually try to make a top 1 challenge is that those people have to find a verifier. I made one called Chagrin, which was pretty hard, maybe top 1 considering the FPS requirements, but the biggest factor for VSC not being dethroned because it’s impossible for actual top 1 challenges to get verified

@@GadoGD i've practised anodyne quite a bit and the double clicks are INSANELY hard to pull off, out of 2k atts i could do the first double click 0 times (3 and 4th click of the level), i consider anodyne harder, the verifier pulls off tops 50 challebges in 10/20k atts, but he needed 200k to beat anodyne, i think it would be harder, your video is really cool, you're getting a sub :)
