Canada has a lot of unique designs and is also Commonwealth - from local mods like the Mexas package on the leopard 1, the Canadair Sabre and the CF-18 package to vehicles currently only available as premiums like the ADATS to even unique local designs like the Skink, Canuck, Arrow, LAV-3, I could go on. A commonwealth package would likely end up mostly Canadian designs.

Gaijin could have given Hungary lots of indigenous vehicles and/or german ww2 stuff, they only gave it soviet post war stuff though. They could give tech trees more unique vehicles and folder copy and paste ones.

I think the next big “Tech” is going to be the F/A-18 Hornet. You’ll have the Oz Hornets in the British Tech Tree. Canadian Hornets will be in the American Tech tree probably as a skin. Finnish Hornets will be in the Swedish Tech Tree. Spanish Hornets will be with the French Tech tree. Swiss Hornets will be in the German Tech tree.

yeah probably would but is it going to be worth the developing costs for gaijin since a lot of latin american people are poorer and thus less likely to buy premiums and also there are probably not a lot of people outside of those countries who are going to start it reducing the amount of people that are going to buy premiums again. kind of like when china got added. its just sad that those tech trees are going to be less likely to be added i would like to see it but we can hope tho.

@@AlRizz187 You say that but the forum post for the LATAM ground tree suggestion has over 10k people interested in it, which sure, isn't a large number if we're talking about the general playerbase, but if we think that the forums are populated by the more frequent and regular WT players, then that's 10k players that would play with the LATAM tree and possibly even buy premiums.

A commonwealth tec tree could genuinely be a tec tree filled with new and unique vehicals if gaijin actually put the effort in. There could still be some copy and pastes to fill In gaps aswell but it doesn't need to be another Israel tree.

You could have an Anzac line and a South African line. While this ignores the efforts of India the problem with Indian vehicles early it's mostly just British and later on it becomes too much a Soviet copy paste tree like the Scandinavian or Chinese trees. Plus, the British era of India is somewhat erm problematic these days.

Speaking about TT Yugoslavia would be a nice one a lot of people don’t know about how many hybrid tanks and domestic made vehicles that were made like the SOKO and Ikarus series just for aircraft sure there is a few gaps but it can easily be filled with another balkan nation also a Sherman with a 122mm gun and the m-84 variants

As much as I would love a YF-12, I wouldn't hold my breath for it. War Thunders maps and PvP arena gameplay is incompatible with an Interceptor version of the A-12. I'd be happy if they finally got around to adding the F-102 and F-106, the only American Cold War interceptors to see service.

Honestly, the aussies are most likely going to be added to the brits tree. Wouldnt mind a sabre, mirage, f4 or a4 sky hawk. Dosent hurt to have more options

It's kind of hard to be hyped for new techtrees nowadays, since the top BR is so high that gaijin will inevitably try to fill it up vertically, to meet all those BRs, rather than horizontally. And that means the easiest and quickest way to do it is by adding copypaste vehicles. I can understand for top tier since yeah, that's just how the modern world is, but they often miss out on so many weird and wacky vehicles from before modern vehicles. It didn't use to be like this, back when the focus was still mostly on WW2 and early cold war vehicles.

Britain being turned into a commonwealth tree makes more sense than it being separate. However: The only things that should go into such a tech tree would be actually unique vehicles. Any vehicle that is of another nation (like Austrabrams, or the T-90S) should go in the tech tree of that nation

There is really no reason for Gaijin to add so many vehicles rn, considering we will literally run out of them at some point pretty soon. They should be focusing on game modes, mechanics, maps, events, changing the meta every once in a while (even if it means artificially), etc.

My concern with more tech trees is that while I absolutely want to see tons of unique vehicles, I feel like Gaijin would give them the France-Italy-China treatment, wherein you play so many things available in other nations and get tired of it. I for one have found grinding through the same Shermans again and again an annoying experience, one that almost made me quit France ground. Gaijin won't do this, but I think the solution would be to have the independent trees, and have inter-tree purchasing/researching of vehicles be a thing with the foldered vehicle type discounts so players spend less time grinding things they already have in favor of playing unique stuff. This wouldn't be an auto-progress to top tier, still make the players have to own so many vehicle of each rank, but it would make trees with more international commonality more usable.

Whenever I say to people to take a loot at LATAM Ground Tech Tree suggestion in the forums (Air is in the works), people always say it will be copy paste without looking. Gaijin adds these nations with 90% copy paste, while LATAM has alot of known and unique vehicles but their own modifications and modernizations Brazil let me tell you, we have the F-5M which would be better than the f-20 (in the current circunstances) What about a stuat SPAA? And many unique designs for wheeled chassi enjoyers

It would be better if WT switches to an actualy techtree, based on vehicle type. Like Armored Warfare. Then you could incorporate all the different variance as sidegrades/upgrades/downgrades and national camoflages as skins and so on and so forth.

Their spread on minor nations is really odd too. They give the Brits a polish firefly but the germans the polish leo2. france could use the BeNeLux tree for some german and brittish reinforcements but there's nothing on that and we have people with no respect for cultural heritage screaming that switzerland should be a part of france, when an alpine alliance with austria could be a nice breath of fresh air to the german TT, especially considering the curassier is kinda in the german tt already. Not only that but then there's the many Czech vehicles that are given to the ussr when a Balkans tree wouldn't have been a bad addition. Japan could use the Skorea subtree and south america could be a a usa subtree.

Gaijin should update their game first before even considering adding new vehicles. Air RB is stale, Simulator battles is languishing, and there aren't enough vanilla options for mission creation in custom battles. So many vehicles, and hardly anything to do with them besides team death match.
