Berlin, the home to the best night life, clubs, party, techno and to the all mighty Temple of the Techno World!
The Legend, the Myth, the most exclusive Club in the world, Berghain! proudly rejecting entry to a list of high profile people like Elon musk, Britney spears, Justin Bieber, Robert Patterson and many others!
But why am i telling you this, well i always wanted to go there and hearing the Rumors of it closing down, made me really worried.
I think the answers might be in their history, After the wall fell down, Berlin was under so much Government pressure and control that counter culture became a need, Punks with shaved heads, weird tats, piercing, leather jackets, chains, rings and what not, they’d have illegal raves in abandon buildings where they’d indulge in their most taboo and hedonistic fantasies, wear all black, listen to hardcore Techno, everything against the grain, everything against the norms of the society! a rejection to brands, ideology, flashiness, bling bling etc. a sort of release in a safe space to say the least! and all underground!

crazy, we both went for the first time during that month of the Red hunter-wristband. Jeah to me it was also great experience. really exciting, new and really welcoming. About entering: I went on sunday-11am and had to wait just 2-3mins. Was trying to stay serious but the music coming through the windows gave me good vibes so I had laughing eyes and slight smiley expression in my face. The bouncer who is mostly serious, started smiling a bit aswell bit was also hiding it a bit and then let me in. haha

I visited Berghain for the first time this summer. The bartenders inside were super friendly just as you said! Did you also manage to find the ice cream bar above the big dance floor. Was a weird experience eating ice cream whilst watching a large amount of people dancing to techno😊

Yes ofc the Eisbar , it opened a little late when I was there but yes I had really good conversations there and made a very cool friend there too. The ice cream tho is mad average AF nothing special lmao XD , the smooth was low key good tho.

I lived some crazy experiences inside, for example, one man around 50 yrs old ask me to drink my pee while I was in the bathroom, but of course I didnt let him ahahha This happened right after I go inside after almost 4 hours in the line. The place is something also crazy and dark, the sound has a huge quality as the DJ's playing.

So jealous, me and my friend only got in on the Friday, so it was only Panorama bar. Spoke in English, got judged for a minute and let straight in. Wanna talk about best sound systems? Then you should rather visit some tekno freeparties in Czech Republic, Italy, Belgium or France. Step Evolution for instance. Those are massive some massive sound walls. Sometimes you can literally see the low frequency vibrations from a 100 meter away. Sidenote though... It's tekno, not techno. A different genres (harder, tribal, faster and more psychedelic - like acidcore, mentalcore, tribecore, hardtekk, tekkcore, ragatekk, etc.) and a whole different subculture, which is absolutely non-existent in the US.
