The theory behind why Eclipse did that in the house was possibly to collect the remnants of Solar's presence, or energy. He's been going to the places Solar frequented and doing the same thing. Even if he wasn't in Sun's and Moon's house as often, the place he died would have the highest concentration of Solar's remnants. If the theory is right, he is trying to bring Solar back in some form.

And that aside they both had the exact same code to begin with). Eclipse has been lonely for so long. He’s tired. Back when he was killed with the laser, he was genuinely trying to help- he was _desperate_ to help. But he didn’t know how to be nice. Solar Flare called him out saying that Eclipse cares. With Solar’s data, maybe Eclipse finally is capable of showing it.

Maybe Earth will bring out the Solar in him. that'd be nice, Eclipse finally gets a break and gets to be the one everyone loves.

That’s exactly what I thought!!! Eclipse is very aware that everyone loved Solar. And he’s very bad at hiding the fact that he’s attempting to bring him back. I think he’s going to give up his life to revive Solar. They need the bits of Solars code that are in Eclipse, which would be hard to get without completely destroying Eclipse. I thing he’s going to kill Ruin, look around and realize that he doesn’t have anything else he wants to do. He’s lost, tired and confused. I think the little good that is left in him will give up his life so Moon can revive Solar. No doubt in my mind that Solar won’t have any of his memories, just like Moon when he died. But I think the family will take care of him and help him discover who he is.

🎉THEORY TIME!🎉 Due to some (if not a big majority) of Solar's code being copied to make Eclipse, it is possibe that at some point Solar could be stuck in Eclipse's Mindscape and becomes a constant voice in his head, hence why when Lunar spoke with Eclipse in the atrium, he kept floating to "think." Maybe, just maybe and hopefully, Solar returns, even if he is stuck in a mindscape with Eclipse. The two are more alike than they thought.

I guess that Solar did survive in some capacity, I hope for your sake Eclipse your plan works and Solar is brought back. It also seems that Eclipse is starting to have to remind himself he wants Ruin dead, so Ruin may yet still have a chance at a better life than the hell he had to live through even if it's not what he wants it's what needs.

Yes, Eclipse, he seems so lost, I'm actually starting to feel sorry for him, this isn't the Eclipse we once knew. You know what. From some of the things Ruin knows about and mentioned here, like the Amalgamation thing. Either he's tapping into the camera feeds...... Or. Ruin is watching the shows too.
