Why Was Gambling Banned On Habbo Hotel?

Hi, I made this video to answer a question sometimes asked by current and former members of the Habbo Hotel community, I think it's a somewhat interesting topic so I thought I'd waste some time and make this video, gambling was banned so sudden that, a lot of moving parts that drove the community at that point were shattered in days
I see people now and then ask Habbo on social media posts for the return of casinos and gambling to Habbo but, the truth is, Habbo fostered an unhealthy gambling environment for far too long where children were betting and running up phone bills to support such an addiction,
Because casinos and their culture had it's tendrils in Habbo for so long, it's community bled into other Habbo communities in various ways

i would say habbo hotel works in the similar way as anime gatcha games because to recieve rewards you have to pull or gamble

im 27 now but i quit habbo wayyy back in the day as soon as they banned casinos. Habbo was wilding when they removed casinos. I get that they dont like scamming and wanna protect kids but thats the downfall they chose

Man I wish they’d bring it back. Still an amazing game. Just kinda no really set way for anyone to grind except buy creds. Tax also lost a lot of ppl bur tax has been added and gambling has been removed from RuneScape also.
