Thanks for sharing your experience. I never took benzos, but am currently going through withdrawal from a different addiction. It's truly shocking how much hell benzo withdrawal puts people through (makes my situation look like a walk in the park). I know that there are some people who didn't feel normal until after 3 years since quitting, so stay strong! You're doing a great job, and you look much, much healthier than you did in your earlier videos.

Wow the improvements in your health and your whole appearance are dramatic and very apparent in this video. You have a lot more energy and focus from the first 3 videos I watched when you were still experiencing quite severe withdrawal symptoms. Well done for getting through this far and making another video!! This gives people who feel absolutely lost and hopeless, a lot of hope. If you can get through 10 years of dependency and those horrific withdrawals, others can too, and especially those who are only 3-5 years into a dependency.

I just subscribed to your channel as I am dealing with pretty much the same thing you are. I know we are all unique to ourselves but still I believe we are feeling pretty much identical fears. Your videos are helping me so much so thank you for sharing. I need to get my shy self to do so e videos. I think a video chat (I have never tried this) would be fun sometime especially if we can get a few people together. I think that would be a great thing for us Benzo victims as we would feel as if we belonged in this World somehow. Sorry if my posts are not making any sense...I am dealing with some freaky shit here and I have officially lifted off of this Planet. I truly believe we shoot off to some different alternate or parallel Universe and that is why we feel weird. This is another World I am in alright. Your videos feel like a warm welcome . :)

@@tyrel510 All in all about 1 Month…this was after being on benzos daily for about 5 years. I suffer from extreme anxiety from PTSD. I still have anxiety issues…but that was why I got on benzo’s in the first place…to help and they do. I still take benzos on and off. I truly do not believe it takes years and years to heal…most people who get on benzos for a long time then quit will say years later they are still going through withdrawals. I ask them why they believe this and they say “Because I am dealing with serious anxiety…the same exact crippling anxiety I had before I ever touched any benzos”. Sounds to me like they are back to being themselves. Again I truly do not believe it takes years and years and years to recover…more like a few Months. The only reason I take frequent breaks is so that my tolerance stays low…and benzos only work for a certain amount of time then (for myself) they will just stop working. …by taking breaks and using only in moderation Benzos help me so much and I now am able to work and live a wonderful life because of them.

@@tyrel510 I do not remember this is an old video…I think he was at one point on Xanax but basically he mentions in his videos of how even after years he is still having severe withdrawals. I have depression as well but I am able to manage that by working out and exercising…but for my anxiety there are times where I cannot leave my house…that is when I take Valium. I just find it ironic how so many people who have used benzos even for just 2 Months will say 7 years later they are still dealing with permanent withdrawals…and again when asked how can that be they literally say they are experiencing the same symptoms (anxiety/depression) that they had before they ever touched a benzo. The irony is that those symptoms is indeed them back to being themselves again. Benzo withdrawals are absolute hell…the anxiety I personally have experienced from stopping cold turkey after using for too long is so overwhelming compared to my “normal” anxiety I have had ever since I was a little boy…but those severe withdrawals lasts for me no longer than a Month. I still have my usual anxiety I will deal with and manage my whole life…but thank God my usual anxiety is nowhere near as bad as anxiety brought on by benzo withdrawals. I think many people with anxiety/depression issues are forgetting that they had anxiety/depression issues before touching benzos…and truly believe it is withdrawals they are dealing with.

@@tyrel510 no my depression can get extremely severe…but benzos do nothing for that…that is where working out and exercising is in my case the best thing that works for my depression…but for anxiety Valium is a wonderful medication if taken properly. I sometimes am prescribed Klonopin but I find it much less helpful for my anxiety. I will say that for me withdrawals from klonopin are far worse than Valium…but for me again it takes a Month…a very long feeling Month to recover. Everyone is different and I do wish you the best.
