This isn't new information but a new scam. Not entirely "new" because it's just a rehashing of what innumerable fraudsters have written since the 1950s, the worst of all being Sitchin from the 1970s onwards. This really sounds like it was a drug to them rather than just a pleasing aroma. It always bugged me so much why a god would care about having an animal killed and burned. Made absolutely no sense at all. It would remain there and rot, because a non existent god couldn't eat it. But if you burn it until it becomes ashes, you can always say "the smoke went up to the heavens and God was pleased by it". The idea that a physical entity was there to actually smell it, is nonsense. Those offers weren't burnt inside a kitchen but in an open space, on a platform raised from the ground which the High Priests accessed through a ramp, so nobody else was there. It was all a ruse to exploit people's naivety and live a comfortable life, because the High Priests kept for themselves most of the offers, while only a small part was burnt.

There was nobody inhaling that. Biglino, a skillful liar, omits a fundamental piece of information: those offerings didn't take place inside a closed space where some entities could inhale the fumes. Everything took place out in the open and the animals were burnt on an altar that was raised from the ground and that the High Priests accessed through a ramp. Nobody else was ever present. The smoke was dispersed in the air above, and if it had some sort of medicinal or recreational purpose, then those aliens must have been big idiots because that's the most ineffective and wasteful method to deliver the allegedly soothing aroma to someone who needs it.
