the solution is stop going to city for life, and fix your villages, towns that you live in. the companies, corporations, colleges are greedy that's why they live in cities. Realestate business is the main problem of the nation, because they dont value anything, and all they care is profits & power.

The only proble in Chennai is being a extremely low lying area.In just 2 hours of heavy rain several places got waterlogged. Govt is not putting a ear on this

I would say urbanization with more and more concretization without rain water harvesting system is inviting the very big danger to metro cities. Ground water level is becoming lower year on year. I realized when i explore and spent more times in my villages and other remote areas. There is no life in metro cites. Narak se bhi jyada bhayankar hone wala hai kuch saalo mein.

All natural water flows , rivalutes are being filled up and buildings build on it . No thought being given for water drainage .
