The spiritual/wellness community is so unbearably judgmental at this point. What you eat, what you wear, how you birth (homebirth isn’t good enough anymore), how you school your kids, what toys they have and so on and so on. I’m saying f*** it all and going back to my roots before the algorithm took over and told me how to think. Following intuition and allowing life to unfold without fighting it is the real lesson. Thanks for sharing this. I do plan on homeschooling as we live abroad at least for the first few years. Homeschooling is definitely something I said I'm doing even while we were living in the U.S. Life is definitely a journey. I'm happy you are getting through this and figuring things out.

We all need support . The system and society is too individualistic .. we don’t know collectivism , yet . Our children are the future !

All of this is growth. Do not feel guilty for growing and changing. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that everyone goes “through it” there are the glorified good days that influencers show where everything looks perfect. But life hits all of them eventually. And we do not see most of those hard days. All of life wasn’t meant to be seen by everyone. Although technology has evolved & we are thankful for the connections made and entertainment….but it’s technically “not normal” even though we’re trying to normalize it.

Filled with gratitude for coming across your video. I’m so thankful you posted this! Two out of three of my children just started school in August of 2024 and wow I felt like you were speaking to me. I felt so guilty and ashamed, still kind of did up until listening to you explain. I never told anyone because I thought I was the only one that felt this way and no one would understand! I felt like I let my kids down, even though they were the ones that wanted to go to school. I also totally agree on the fact that everything should not be shared. I know you used to create more content and always wondered what happened to her, oh well, not making content ,I decided to stop sharing veganism after 8 years and becoming super unhealthy And I decided I didn’t wanna share my children on social media any longer! I agree 1000% about not sharing your goals, etc. I feel like social media has almost turned into like we just have stockers that just wanna know what’s going on in our personal lives and what we’re up to, where we’re at etc. that has made me so uncomfortable not to mention that 2024 was the most difficult year for me mentally and physically! There’s just so much to unpack in this video but I love love your idea of the art studio. Please don’t give up on that dream please so many children can benefit from this. It’s good to see you! I for one really appreciate your apology because I remember how hard you and other influencers used to go when it came to veganism, homeschooling, and certain lifestyles and there was a lot of shame that was pushed onto the collective for simply living different lifestyles. The school system isn’t perfect but one thing I can say is that there are teachers who love what they do and pour their hearts into our babies and when you’re a single parent you need that support from them, I’m glad you have access to that support now and I hope your children have a great time at school. You’re a phenomenal mom!
