Oregon State fan and alum here. I am biased but I still see Oregon winning this Saturday. As soon as Oregon State released their schedule many months ago, I predicted their only loss being to Oregon. That predictions still stands. I believe they beat everyone on their regular season schedule, except for Oregon. That includes Washington State, Cal, Purdue, and last but not least, Boise State. I also do believe that an 11-1 season for Oregon State lands them in spot in the CFB playoffs. My prediction for the game is Oregon winning 28-21. I’ll be in Corvallis for the game

Oregon had 3 starters on the O line from last year that have plenty of experience. There is no excuse for getting man handled by the Idaho D line. They definitely treated this like a scrimmage but they threw up on themselves. I would have liked the D to have shut Idaho out. That would have made it more palatable.

The fact that Oregon, even with a down o line, has issues running the ball on an FCS team is very concerning. Dillon Gabriel did not throw 50 passes out of luxury but out of necessity because they couldn’t run the ball. Take in mind they were up 3 with 6 minutes to go in the game and needed a 4th down conversion to stop a potential Idaho game winning drive from ensuing

Important to remember that people are far more likely to interpret something in favor of their bias. If they didn't like Oregon before that game they will try and use it as evidence they are bad. It's really not that complicated. They will be quiet when we overperform and loud when we don't. Plus most of these people live in a state with like a 7 dollar min wage and horrible public school funding - be nice to them, they have problems bigger than our O-Line.

We are taking this as a hic-up of Oregon's O-Line. Not sure why Lanning did not commit last week to naming who starting Center would be, but Pancho was thought of as likely starter. Speculation is with the walk-on Center was communication between him and Gabe was not there. But it's just that. Speculation as to what was going on and allowing Gabe to get sacked 3 times. Coach Terry and Stein will make absolutely certain that O-Line issues will be fixed by Saturday for Boise St.
