Why we don't follow the simple and basic principles of the Course_Excerpt from "ACIM" Workshop

Kenneth Wapnick discusses how Jesus asks us to "look upon the problem as it is, and not the way that you have set it up." Yet we don't follow this simple principle because we don't want to let the problem (of guilt) go.
