Shops like Primark and Shein actually contribute so much to the fast fashion world as they are quickly produced and are made from toxic chemicals that pollute the environment. They also have all their clothes made in hazardous factories that collapse all the time. And workers are literally paid nothing. I think its so cool how you are starting to be aware of it but I recommend buying from higher quality, sustainable brands that dont harm the environment as much as the shops you shop at in your videos.

I live in a farming community, and I just wanted to let you know that not milking cows is way more painful for them than actually milking them. Not judging your decision to go vegetarian, but it's better to go directly to the source to ask questions than to go to websites like Peta. While I'm not sure you went on Peta's website, you might in the future and I also wanted to let you know that that organization and website is so wack. They make a lot of their videos of animal abuse themselves (they film themselves abusing the animals) and have a ton of misinformation. But kudos for you for going vegetarian! I like bacon way too much :)
@user-ig9hs3zm9g4 жыл бұрын
That’s complete bs. Cows only produce milk to feed their calf (which is taken from them so that we humans can have their milk.) If a cow doesn’t have a calf then they have no milk. Just like humans. Whilst I don’t support PETA, what you have said is false.
@xxcrazycoleyxx61474 жыл бұрын
- no, it’s true, I come from a family of dairy farmers, and cows produce milk for about 10 months of the year, if they aren’t milked during the 10 months then they can get infections and diseases such as mastitis, which is really painful for them. The cows will literally come to you at milking time because they want to be milked. The 2 months that the cows don’t lactate is a few months before they are due to calve, this is because they use up the energy they would normally use during lactation to grow the foetus. Calves aren’t ripped away from their mothers, which is what people tend to think happens, the calves get weaned off their mothers milk, so that they can eat feed, or silage, as they are going to grow up and be too large to drink from the mother teat, also the mother will eventually die (like every animal) whether that’s of old age or of a disease and the offspring is likely to outlive the mother. It’s true about PETA too they film most of their videos themselves, they abuse more animals than farmers all over the world. As farmers we care for and nurture our animals, because if we don’t then they won’t produce good products whether that’s milk or whatever, and if they don’t produce good products, then we either can’t sell them at all or have to sell them at a cheaper price, which eventually means that in the end the farm would go bust and we wouldn’t be able to run it, as well as this if we don’t care for our animals then they get sick and then they may have to be killed for example if your farm has a TB outbreak then you must kill all infected animals on your farm and any from neighbouring farms. In short if we don’t care for our animals then the farm won’t be sustainable. So it isn’t complete bs you’re just not educated correctly on the matter.

My family always make sure all our meat is free range or we get it from a farm shop where we know exactly where the meat comes from and how the animals are kept. Also well looked after animals make batter quality meat too. I would never knowingly eat meat that if from farms where they animals have been kept in cramped conditions having to be bathed in chlorine and pumped with hormones, chemicals & water.

The journey u are doing if u didn’t stop would take you 23 to 25 hours depending on traffic I only know bc I take the journey from the ferry to the very bottom of France so it takes us 27 to 29 hours with only stopping for a 2-3 hour nap in the cafe car park

Tofu is a really good meat alternative for vegetarians, it's easy to prepare and cook and I normally have it in a stir fry instead of chicken. It tastes just the same, if not better.

make sure they don’t eat some sweets as it can contain gelatine which comes from animals! x

Once its clicked that's it! Well done. We have recently gone Vegan as a family as we cant be part of that. All because our 7 year old didnt want to eat any animal products. Dairy is unbelievably cruel. Look into it. There are some amazing educational videos about the meat/dairy industry. Once you know the truth you will never eat Dairy again. Plant based is sooooo much healthier. We have replaced our milk,cheese and butters and the choice nowadays is unbelievable. Also look into the egg industry and I guarantee you will never eat an egg again. Good luck guys xx

My family decided to do meat free January, and it wasn’t as hard as we thought it would be. We have always eaten free range food but we managed to make it all the way through January without meat and now we have learnt so many knew recipes and yummy meat alternatives

We don’t eat meat and minimise dairy too, which all started for health reasons but the same as you, when you start looking in to it some of the way the animals are treated is horrific! But the best burgers we have had are the beyond meat ones which you can get from Tesco (not much help while you are away though 😂)

It’s a cicada making that sound. Kids collect their exoskeletons here in Australia all the time.
