Why We Haven't Received A NEW Deadpool Game?

It’s strange that there isn’t even a whiff of a game forthcoming, but I’d be extremely surprised if the bigwigs at Marvel Entertainment haven’t got at least some semblance of a plan in place for Deadpool’s next foray into video games. Despite him announcing a plan to take time away from acting, Ryan Reynolds has no less than five movies in the pipeline, including Deadpool 3.
I love Nolan North, but my gut feeling is any future Deadpool game would likely prove more successful with Ryan voice acting the character. After all, both Deadpool movies have grossed over $1.5 billion, which I’d attribute in large part to Ryan’s pull. Deadpool, to me, seems like the character he was born to play.

I bet Insomniac would make a kickass Deadpool came down the line. Doing Wolverine is a perfect setup. Maybe he’s too wild for what they’re doing but I’m sure they could balance the character right. They’ve done amazing with Spider-Man so far. No pun intended

Having Grasshopper Studios to make DeadPool,will be a very interesting idea to see. Suda51 really have a shared history when it comes to raunchy humour and over the top gameplay. Having them working on DeadPool is definitely a match made in heaven. Let’s what the future holds for the merc with the mouth.

I've been waiting for another Deadpool game since the last one. Deadpool has been my favorite comic character since the early 2000s. I have a huge collection of Deadpool comics, and the movie is my number one favorite movie of all time. So please bring on another Deadpool game and take my money!

I'd have it where Ryan Reynolds voices Wade primarily, but maybe in the last act he runs into Nolan North Deadpool. After some back & forth, they team up and take out the end boss. The ideal would be the two straight-up having a co-op campaign. Maybe a Gwenpool story, too (DLC?).

Or another talented developer insomniac is not the only one. We haven't seen what skydance can do hell if Microsoft can they can create an interesting pitch (highly doubt Microsoft would do that. They are too focused on Aquiring publishers the initiative can make a black widow game instead of perfect dark.)

Tbh, I'm playing the game they did release and tbh, I'm having fun with it. It's got some issues tho, for sure. It's a bit repetitive, and the world kinda looks a bit bleh. But I love designs of the characters and the voice acting is hilarious. Like, I'm crying from laughing cuz of the dialogue and my gut hurts from laughing that hard. Nolan North literally is carrying the game as Deadpool for me (I haven't beat the game yet, but I'm having fun overall) If they ever did another game, that'd be cool. Like come on, Deadpool with a modern game engine could be badass, have Nolan North back for the game tho. But hopefully soon they'll do another game soon. But if not, it is what it is.

What's frustrating about the Deadpool game is that I never got it originally and it's not on Steam to buy anymore, and finding a Steam key online is like $500 or more on G2A, etc so I'm not sure how I'll play this without trying to look for an old Xbox to play it on

I Purchase deadpool the game after I saw Deadpool the movie 3 years after the game came out. I never knew they made a deadpool game until the movie came out I paid $13 it was so good was worth $39. Although the game had a gun bug it was still an outstanding game and it was fun What I suggest is making a definitive edition for part one recouping your lost money on the 100 million dollars spent to make. Then take that money throwing it into part 2 getting Ryan Reynolds to be the voice of deadpool and make that game superior to part 1 and and tahe the money to make that game a definition Edition And that will allow you to recoup any loss money from one and that can be alot of money to allow ayou to make deadpool 3 and another deadpool 3 definitive addition to get bucket of money before another DP movie and this will be setup for a reboot can restart series with #4 in 5 - 8 years

For more replayability, I think a new Deadpool game needs an inFAMOUS-style Karma system, with Anti-Hero and Villain replacing Good and Bad. So if you're ONLY killing bad guys, you become an anti-hero, but if you're killing innocents as well, you become a villain. I mean, there's comics where he kills the Marvel Universe, meaning heroes and villains alike, so it's not like the character is 100% an anti-hero, so I think a Karma system like that is not only still in line with his character, but it could also add more replayability to the game. Especially if it's more open-world, like inFAMOUS, or like Insomniac's Spider-Man games.

@@benjamincurtis1412 He can teleport. Plus, he has his own vehicles in the comics. Like, he has a spaceship called Bea Arthur and a double-decker bus called the Deadmobile. So you could drive through the city, or teleport across it. Or, since he's always messing with other heroes and villains, he could just steal their vehicles, which a lot of them weirdly have.

Honestly the top 15 characters who should have their own game from are the following. Black Widow Black Panther Hulk Daredevil Ghost Rider (any of them) Blade Punisher Venom Captain Marvel ( just take the concept of she's depowered and you work your way up to her levels with her hitting Binary) Elecktra Punisher Moonknight Iron Man (it shouldn't be so hard to do a videogame for him, just litterally make the suits fully customizable) Loki (make his all about choices)

the reason i never picked this game up is bcuz the casting of Nolan north as Deadpool never worked, and how bad and cringy the writing is. i think it should be rebooted and recast Nolan north for someone better. the game isn't good enough and doesn't deserve a sequel. i would be perfectly fine for a movie game of deadpool with the voice of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool with the game being an extended version of the movies.
