I think some people think it’s just needless drama or it’s being addressed in the wrong way - but if Madox didn’t do this then people wouldn’t know how bad the situation had gotten and nothing would have changed. So yeah, no idea why people are disagreeing to be honest.

I don't agree with this because it really just seems like these guys aren't happy with the way SBX was being run, and they quit. There's nothing really much more to say about it than that. If the artists don't like SBX or GBB, they absolutely do not have to participate. If the staff don't like it at SBX, they can quit. It's not like it's paying their bills anyway? The art of beatbox doesn't die with one single organisation. If SBX is truly more of a curse than a blessing, why don't they just let it die? And I suspect the reason is because it has something of value to offer that isn't money, and it's something that nobody who's chasing someone else's money wants talking about (except for when they're trying to accuse ONE PERSON of having "a monopoly" on an artform, which makes absolutely no sense. As an artist, if you don't like SBX, don't work with them. If you don't think you can make it without them, that should tell you all you need to know about the value they provide to you in exchange for your performances.

This is one of, if not the most important video for the beatbox community right now. Some people can't handle serious topics like this, but we cannot keep on acting like this community doesn't have MASSIVE problems. The GBB and Swiss Beatbox overall need drastic changes to become a company that is able to pay their workers the money they earned and also give more to the artists. There shouldn't be a single leader who acts like a dictator and a man-child, demanding that everyone does what he wants. Swiss Beatbox has so much potential to be something better and bigger, but not if 1.Pepouni doesn't change or 2.Pepouni doesn't leave the company. We cannot romanticize reality any longer, pepouni is not your friend.

If this video gets as much traction as the first one, I’d just throw out a reminder to everyone to lookup all your favorite beatboxers and watch and share their most recent performances and battles. There’s a lot of recent releases that aren’t getting much traction and if you want beatboxers to have more independence it’s important to support them on their own channels as well as other platforms they can work with. Even if the quality of some events isn’t up to what you’re used to, more support means they can afford to put on better quality events in the future.

There is nothing worse than working with a toxic narcissist as a boss. You can’t even be 100% mad at them because this is simply how they are. They truly believe the world revolves around them and everyone needs to bend over backwards to do everything for them. It saddens me to hear about how poorly you guys are being treated; I've been beatboxing for five years and have always looked up to you, Chezame. Trung bao everyone who has contributed to this community I assumed you guys are living the dream, beatboxing for a livelihood and spreading this awesome culture. How happy I would be if I were the one witnessing this family's growth from that vantage point, but no one knows how cruel it is behind the scenes. I am also attempting to start something with my own power, but since I am currently occupied with college and other obligations, I will leave this comment as an ensign and return in couple of years, at which point we may be working together. Stay courageous, Madox, and keep fighting! By creating these videos, you are inspiring individuals like me, and in my case, it is much-needed inspiration from you! Thank you Madox.

It is honestly eye opening to finally get to hear a little bit of *why* sbb seems so chaotic even though there were obviously very professionally put events and videos behind it all but I guess I have my answer now: some people are just not meant to take on a *business role* but for some reason think that the only way to be successful or even respected is to also try to handle things that they're very obviously not equipped to handle. So the lesson should be simple: You can still be respected and successful with your small-but-growing business if you just stay on as a majority shareholder and just hire someone who's an actual business person (Or in this case, *listen and give authority* to them since they were very obviously there already) to just run the business side. Small businesses 9 out of 10 time end up ruining friendships and such exactly because of this situations in which people are terrible at the *business* side and take it personal if someone points that out.

Most of them have jobs and do the art for love. But talking about the events concern, it should not be AGT production or big budget stuff, but something like GBB 2015 or 2016 and build up from there.

IMO the best way to dethrone GBB is to create a bigger and more prestigious event as well as a federation for beatboxers. In the new format make judges also create content too at competitons, more than a judge showcase.( Alot of great content is lost by judges not creating years after they won) Allow beatboxers to charge for coaching and their own merch for audience members after the show in stalls. The new organization should have a focus on free flow of information and community. Afterall no one learns everything without the help of others.

Madox why don't you try to reach Justin from beatbox international or even chezane or all of you to create a event that the price for it was a share from a community patreon or something like that, that obviously pay the right amount to everyone involved in creating the event, and the top 5 or 10 artists of the event with shared prize base by placement.
