I think you might have saw the adult swim stealth airings from December 2000. On December 30 2000 they aired aqua teen, sealab 2021, and harvey birdman in the early morning. They also aired the brak show pilot on december 21 2000 along with sealab 2021 and a pilot called the lewis lectures.

Same. Remember staying up late as shit on Saturdays to text one of my friends while we watched superjail and squidbillies, cause no matter how much either of us sang those shows praises, nobody else seemed to like them. Spending weekends at one of my bros' house with the rest of our crew from 5th grade all the way through highschool and after, first sneakily watching once his folks thought we were asleep, then later trying to get his mom to check shit out since we'd got her into South Park. Before most of that, though, my first experiences with adult swim were my uncle letting me stay up and watch it with him, my cousin and I watching bits and pieces of stuff at random every now and again when we'd get tired of games and start flipping channels, and that one time staying at my aunt's and getting the shit scared outta me by a scene from trinity blood when I was like 8 or so.

Thank you. You brought back old memories. Adult Swim was such a great starter to other shows that are out now. I appreciate your video

Bro bebop is your favorite and flcl is your second??? Let’s fucking go!!!!!! God damn I miss adult swim in the early 2000’s!!! Remember they aired the animatrix the weekend before they first aired flcl lol. I still have all that shit recorded and I was literally JUST starting high school 🤣🤣

I got frission from this. All the memories. The hum of my shitty CRT TV late at night with the faint audio of a random dubbed anime playing while slowly falling to sleep. I miss that. I try to get it back with Toonami Aftermath, but the lineup hasn't changed in years. It's just not the same.

Nothing like that soft blue glow late night on the tv man. To this day I need a tv on to sleep lol even if it’s not playing anything. Nothing like anime on adult swim back in the day right?? [ ]

I loved Adult Swim, to the point where most of my content is an homage to it. Me Grimlock Tonight, Aqua Teen Hunger Bots, Cybertron Television, all based on Space Ghost Coast to Coast, ATHF, and Robot Chicken, but all of the characters are replaced by Transformers.

Editor here! I wasn't fully familiar with Jimi Jackson but I was looking for footage of "weird friends" and his video made me laugh. I'm a fan now :)

Where is that background music from? It's awesome, but I can't seem to find it
@GeekscapeTV11 ай бұрын
Unfortunately I don't think it's available. It's a friends band from the MySpace days and I don't think their music is available anywhere now. But it was called Analog 2 by Hey Hey
