W126 is Great & good as a collector car, but in my opinion the W126 is too old from its technologies & Design for today as a daily driver. The W140 is a better car & better daily driver

W126 is the last Classic Mercedes.. nothing drives like a Mercedes after that even the W140 does not drive the same.... the seats, the star, the hood, the dashboard , nothing compares....

I have both, but 2 door version 140 have better transmission 722.6, better fuel injection system, xenon headlights, rain sensor, amazing BOSE factory sound, and soft-close all around. 126 have old transmission722.3, bad fuel injection, doors must be slam. But today day's cool factor 126 coupe wins over, 140 coupe

W140 is too fragile. There's a cheapness to the interior which I do not like. Heat and U/V ruins it.
