Why We Love Our Underwater Camera | Dual Screen Waterproof Digital Camera for Pictures & Filming

Why should you own an underwater camera when you have a cell phone (that you take all your pictures & do all your filming with) that can go underwater OR you already own an underwater protector case for your cell phone??? Check out my video and see why I believe it it very important to go with a separate camera for underwater water picture taking & filming. While this underwater camera is ideal for when you go snorkeling or scuba diving - it is also the perfect camera to have on hand for vacations, when you are going to do any water activities (boating, swimming, etc.). Great video. The camera i had didn't close properly when I put the SD card in the battery slot, so water got inside. I have another one, so hoping it doesn't happen again

I would like to learn more about the go pro - I may do some future investing in cameras as I film more. For now though, I like having an inexpensive camera (that the kids can use) that works great for underwater. Thanks guys 💜

I'm really surprised about these cameras. The first underwater cameras were before blue tooth features and you certainly could not do videos. They were more throw-away with just a button to take a picture and of course no hook up to a computer so you had to go get them developed. It is amazing that you can be salt water and it has all those buttons that salt water can seep in. Do you have to dry it out when finished?

Yes, I remember very well those under water cameras that were more throwaway and had absolutely no features except for a button to take a picture. But of course I need one for filming 😁 yes, apparently it does well in salt water! That’s what it’s made for, filming stuff you would see with snorkeling or scuba diving 🤿

Does it record sound? And is it just as good for picture and videos outside the water?

Yes, it does record sound, we don’t really use that part of it because when we film underwater I always (when editing) put that part of my videos to music/or voiceovers. The pictures and video quality is the same outside of the water, probably better to because you don’t have the splashing. Hope this is helpful! 😊
