So educational!! Thank you for sharing the facts. The thing I've always loved about your company is you don't pump out a bunch of products to keep up with the latest hyped products or fads. Instead it's obvious your products are well thought out and fantastically formulated. Thank you for protecting our skin by using the most science backed and studied preservatives. I would rather have a well preserved product, than one that's using something less effective just to market and play off the fear all this "clean" beauty buzz has brought about.

The biggest proof of that is the testers in department stores of the brands that are “preservative free” , they got molds and got spoiled very quickly to a degree that people working there have to replace them very quickly (I worked there once) and it brought us a hustle and difficulty dealing with the suppliers to send extra testers.

Thank you so much for this. I just started using a face wash that contains DMDM Hydantoin and a body lotion with diazolidinyl urea and I was freaking out after finding out these are formaldehyde releasers. I can now sleep peacefully thanks to you.

This was so informative! I was admittedly afraid of the diazolidinyl urea until I did further research and learned, as you mentioned, that you’re exposed to those amounts from fruit too. It really puts things into perspective and your comment on exotic vs mundane is so true. I’d love a video discussing DMAE since it’s another “controversial” ingredient you decided to use!

Can you make a get ready with me video? I liked your unready one you posted last month. Also, do you think you’ll be making a sunscreen a time soon? Your products seem to work well for sensitive skin, I just thought if anyone could make good sunscreen, it’s you.

Thank you so much for the suggestion. Creating an SPF is such a complex process and we would want to make sure we do it right! Development and testing for sunscreens would be relied on outsource development, which isn't something Alli wants to do at this time. If we do release one in the future we will make sure you are one of the first to know 🤗

I have couple ideals for your next tutorial. I have came across a problem with finding studies or info on cooper peptides or peptides when used along side of Tranexamic acid or Kojac acid . I found on The Ordinary's product that you cant use Pycnogenol with copper peptides. why tho ? is it all antioxidants? Laying our favorite skincare safely and without canceling out other needed treatments.

Thank you Annie, I have found in the last 5 years that some of my newer purchases are going bad and changing colors even in the tubes. I bought a very nice high-end concealer last year and its changing color, right before my eyes, in les than a year. My lipsticks are the same. I have older lippies still going and new ones that had to be thrown out, less than a year as well.

I saw your getting unready video, but I would love to see a get ready video. Also, do you like you will be making a sunscreen anytime soon? I struggle finding sunscreens for my sensitive skin. And I usually prefer using the same product family.
