This is the point I think so many are missing when they comment things like, "oh just another celebrity trying to get sympathy by coming out and makijng themselves a victim." Everyone has a story to tell, and we never know who will be impacted.

I really enjoyed this Ted Talks! So much I had to be nosey and see where Christine has been and where she is headed. No surprise this humble yet eloquent speaker is in grad school (2017) and well on her way to inspiring social justice in an area many assume we have "arrived." We need more "Christines" in this world, and three years past this speech I hope her voice is being heard. The title "Why We Need Another Coming Out Story" is apropos in a time we are surrendering our civil right progresses to convention.
