I agree, I honestly don't believe these celebrities use these products they're promoting. It's a way to take advantage of their fans to make more money in my opinion.

Celebrities don't use their own products. They use inexpensive skincare products that are actually effective. Less is more also comes to mind. I use Ponds' cold cream to clean and moisturize the skin. I also use a pearl cream to moisturize as well. I thought I needed scrubs and toners, but nope. A simple wash cloth to scrub and using a baby wipe to wipe off ponds' cold cream are enough. I saved so much doing this.

I tried ponds and I really did love how it worked and made my skin feel but the fragrance was sooo perfumy and triggered headaches. I’m a huge fan of Cerave products. They work well, are reasonably priced, and don’t have fragrance.

As a Gen X woman, I grew up on cosmetics and skincare products from drugstores, so I continue to get all of that from there. I generally find beauty products from celebrity brands to be gimmicky and ineffective, and I have always understood that for these celebrities, it's just another business venture to diversify their portfolio. But I admit I love celebrity fragrances (like Britney Spears' perfumes). They can smell so good at affordable prices.
@psychic64421 сағат бұрын
Unfortunately, celebrity products are now in drugstores and department stores. They are trying to root out the classic brands that are truly the best on the market. By boycotting the celebrity products, we promote the tried and true classics that work! Thank you, Laura! Great documentary, as always!!!💗💓💞

I will never buy a celebrity backed skin care product. They are expensive and sometimes crappy. Nope. And we all know that they get procedures done and their skin has nothing to do with the products they endorse.🙄

All the celebs mentioned, with maybe the exception of Rihanna have undergone plastic surgery. Those good looks and taut skin didn’t come from using these products.
@anyaaa2801Сағат бұрын
Rihanna definitely has done something to her face. Again it's VERY very subtle.
@anyaaa28012 сағат бұрын
While i don't believe celebrities really actually use their beauty products, at least Rihanna brought something (even tho it's a little bit expensive) that was really needed to the table: more foundation shades. It was after seeing her success that other brands decided to expand their own foundation shades. I give her a little high five for doing it.

😮the nostalgia I got from that Elizabeth Taylor White diamonds commercial. They don’t use their own products. Their biggest contributions are their name and their say on what package to execute. All about that $

Due to the fact that they got a built in audience. That can up-price it and sell it for $50-$70 while I got to sell mines for $10-$20 . I got to build myself customers up
