Why we shouldn't try to do a U-Turn at a mini roundabout!

Space is very restricted at a mini roundabout, it's not a good idea to try to go all the way round one!

I honestly think it's fine, but only if you must and you have enough room to do so. (Do a full turn without stopping) Although, I have had the problem of other drivers assuming I'm turning left/right and trying to drive behind me, then end up just blocking my right of way.

This is why it's recommended that you don't do it. The best thing you should do in that scenario is give way to them.
