Here on the east coast. Especially at old 8wayRun events. Windjammers would find its way to tournaments. College tourney? Windjammers. Convention tourney? Windjammers. Tournament at the gymnasium in a church? Windjammers. Glad to see you spreading the word. It's a great staple in gaming history imo.

I grew up playing the original all the time at a local grocery store back in the 90's along with Samurai Shodown and KOF '94. So many good memories of that one. I brought this one the other day and it's a GREAT sequel to the original. It's just as fun and has more techniques. I'm really liking it.

I always played Windjammers at our local bowling alley like every week. Nobody has even ever heard of it but it is a place in my childhood. The same machine had metal slug and a fighting game also. It was like a six in one.

I played the original a lot. Got Windjammers 2 on STEAM on release date!! And yes... it's a fighting game (more or less). I hope they do a lot of Windjammers 2 tournaments as they did the original. ChaseTatsujin is a very good tournament player from Windjammers 1!
