Why women prefer mysterious men over clingy relationship oriented nice guys.
In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a 25 year old viewer who has done well after finding my work. However, he is in a bit of a slump and most 1st dates lately never make it to a 2nd or 3rd date. He is hearing excuses from women who have lost interest in him that reveal he is giving off a clingy approval seeking vibe instead of a fun and mysterious vibe. There also doesn’t seem to be a lot of enthusiasm in the women he is dating towards him. Whatever he is saying and doing on dates is causing the women to feel like he is trying to lock them down to a commitment because he is desperate for a relationship.

Something that I always did when I was single was to chill, don't have expectations and always assume she is going out with someone else as well. That was the easiest way not to get attached and vet her properly to make sure she is a decent person to date. Your actions today, always predict your future.

This is pretty common today that women will ghost or just not be interested in a 2nd date. Women have so many options that they will always try to find something better. A perceived better option is just a swipe away now! Reciprocate the energy she is putting into the communication and don't try and chase or get answers as to why she ghosted you (needy/desperate behavior). Move on! Keep improving as a man until you meet someone that has desire for you as well. I can say this as my last five or so "good" dates have ended with a kiss and then ghosted. Just roll with the punches. She is either not that interested, seeing someone else, or just not emotionally available. Be thankful she didn't waste any more of your time or money.

I agree with Corey Wayne's Stance on not being too eager and not prioritizing a women whom you are not truly excited by / not giving you the same energy. HOWEVER, something has drastically shifted in the dating market since covid ended - especially with online dating. the amount of fading/ghosting and outright spastic/confusing behavior from women has increased dramatically. I've found in the past you could generally act interested, play the numbers game, and once you found a women where there was mutual interest, she would stick around. nowadays, it seems as though you can have an amazing connection on both ends, that is sustained over a few dates, and she will just ghost or fade or "Suddenly feel" differently. I think most women that have remained single and used apps are honestly mentally wracked and its starting to show - no matter how good the date(S), there is a good chance she will leave. I've noticed this as well as many of my friends. Something has definetely changed.

I think it's the chase. They love the thrill of it. They get a lot of attention online and I think a lot of women suffer from an inflated ego. If a girl really likes you, she will bust your door down to get to you. I've dated recently and I was very patient throughout the initial stages. Good connection, good fun, kinky stuff, but it seems way more difficult to keep their attention. Even the ones who were door breakers. They have so much they are watching, people and their lives they are following, guys hitting them up. It's really difficult. Corey teaches to never stop the courtship. I agree, but good christ it's a job within itself to keep the attraction level up. It didn't feel this way 10 years ago. I think guys are getting frustrated more and more because women (not every, but a lot) have this belief that they need to make things as difficult as possible, to root out the "bad" ones from the "good" ones. I just think they really have a warped sense of reality when it comes to dating and connection. Men too, but I think we are looking at the root of it all more than women do and trying to correct and re-write some of our behavior. Good luck out there.

From what I've seen, women are more ATTRACTED to the mysterious guy in a sexual sense, but they are typically much more likely to MARRY the clingy relationship dude lol. He tends to be a far safer bet for long-term partnership since women see him as more predictable and consistent. If a man masters balancing the mysterious appeal with the safe/reliable appeal, then he's hit the jackpot. But most men will realistically only fall into one camp or the other.

Friend of mine went on a couple of dates with a woman (he was 44, she was 38) On their third date, which he thought had gone very well, he drove her home and she told him she was too tired to ask him in but asked him to call her when he got home. So he called her when he got home and she dumped him. Of course, I shouldn't laugh. 😁

If women ask you out, then they wanna see you, so set up a definite date again if you're into them! As Corey says "Hang out, have fun, hook up." I think he's being a cold fish, and that's why no second dates or further progression happens. Also, it's ok to chit-chat a little bit in text, but keep it short and again make a definite date to talk in person!

I was in a situation like this about year or two ago. Its frustrating because you've had success in the past and it feels like a step back. However, the answer is ... keep moving forward. Keep taking action, talking to women/strangers and continue to go on dates. Eventually, you will right the ship. You may not be SAYING anything wrong, but your body language and tone is probably coming across as desperate and/or weak and the women can pick up on this. If you keep pressing forward the tide will turn and you will have multiple options and this will fix your tone of voice and body language problem because you won't be faking it anymore. Yes, they love "mysterious" until they discover what comes with the "mysteriousness" and begin trying to manipulate the f-ckboy (which is what they truly are, let's be honest.) I love it when I see a train wreck in motion... it's funny and sad at the same time. And these women hopelessly sit there waiting for SuperMysterious to mutate into the husband of their dreams while he just wants to hit it and run. Then she's left without a relationship, with kids and looking for a willing beta male to inherit the "situationship" in exchange for sporadic sex. I've seen this happen so many times it used to make me cringe and left with a feeling of sadness for her... Now I look at it and laugh.

With women too, the words they say more than likely are spur of the moment. Once you understand that people are a battleground of drives each wanting something different and each with their own logic and reason then you’ll begin to see that the woman that don’t do as they say aren’t lying, the genuinely believe what they say, but that is just a drive with it’s logic, once that drive is satiated and another one taken over then they will act differently to what was said, because it is a different drive, a different person. You want someone who can subordinate their other drives and remain a somewhat stable person. You yourself act this was too, we all do, we are mostly subconscious beings.

i like asking woman to go to the mall if its a first date. even tho it is kinda tacky now, there is so much stuff there to make conversation about. you can really get to know a persons personality and how they choose to banter, there humor and how they small talk. if any shops have lude items and if she likes you she will let you in on the dirty humor. if they like you they meet up. its also great because the crazy chicks will out themselves immediately, like you can make a comment about something neutral, and you can see there crazy brain try to make a controversy about it, like you see them crazy bimbo eyes bug out, its easy to talk outta it, but then i will just visit a few stores with them and walk to a store with an exit, say i had fun and just walk out and away from that bag of nuts. dinner is a boring waste of time, energy and money on crazy, or just a chick who is looking for a meal and has no interest except for a meal that drains your wallet. ive had chicks agree to go to the mall then a few days later try to change it to lunch at a restaurant of there choosing, i ghost out immediately, i could prolly salvage it but, im not into doin a job interview where i gotta pay X amount of money. if they like you they meet up at the place you asked them to.

Went out on two dates with a girl. Only texted to set up dates and the dates were once a week. The second date was on a Wednesday and we went out and she was all over me making out and everything and she opened up to me about herself but it was too late at night to do anything as we had work the next day so I sent her on her way (I should have pulled the trigger earlier in the night). She always texts me after the date. On that second date she was really wanting to see me Friday night so I agreed. When she sent her after date text late at night I (stupidly) replied that night with trying to set the details. She never replied and then Friday afternoon she said she had to cancel because she was not feeling well. I said no problem, reach out to me when you’re feeling better and she said okay I will do that. Now, (stupidly) I couldn’t resist and hit her up on Tuesday the next week trying to set a date for later in the week. She said she had finals next week but she would be free next weekend (not this weekend). I (stupidly) sent a voice note (with a flirty tone) trying to plan something later in the week. She said mmmm I’ll have to put some thought into that. I never replied but I am just going to sit back now because I know I’m coming off as needy. Should I hit her up next week or wait two weeks or just move on and set something up if she reaches out?
