This and Handling have been my 2 biggest non-concerning concerns. There's poop in the (bioactive) terrarium so clearly he is eating and he eats bugs from a tong no problem but I have never seen him personally touch the Gecko Diet (I have batches of both Pangea and Raphy). I have gone days without bugs and there's poop. So yeah, he eating at some point. Thank You! And then the Handling. I was worried because my little guy doesn't seem comfortable when I reach for him (no matter the technique) but he acts exactly as yours did as you handled them. Which, in of itself is comforting to see. So, unintentionally, Thanks for that to. Wouldn't mind yet another video on Handling though in the same format as this one. Thanks again either way!

Handling needs time, some like it more than others tho

Thank you for those great tips! Do you have any tips of getting a crestie to eat different types of powder food? I have one that will only eat one flavor.

I would try only giving him the new flavor for a week and see how he reacts, if he gets hungry he should eat it

Hey guys my crested gecko has been REFUSING to eat. And today I noticed when I was examining hi is one of his nostrils looks totally plugged and he's breathing weirdly. I have no vet near me that can help.. what should I do?

Hi! Thanks for this video! I have 3 cresties. Pongo was adopted in June. He is around 3yo. He was eating Pangaea every other night until the beginning of this month. He didn't eat for the week, then he eat 3 times and he stopped again. The problem is there is no poop. This boy is also very wild. His previous home wasn't the best so it's hard to catch him and give him a worm bath or anything tbh... Nothing changed for him since he is with us. Same temperature, humidity, enclosure etc. Anything you can think of??? Exotic pet in my area is on holidays and it's only 4 clinics in my country

keep calm, provide some pangea food and let him alone, if you have the humidity, temps and so right and its a jumpy, wild one its more likely healthy enough to get along well

@@smithd2001 thank you for your reply. I try to stay calm... Not easy. My two other rescued are eating well. What is worried me the most is no poop after he eat 3 times lately. He is active during the night so it's a good sign. Thanks

i bought an adult cresty from a breeder on morph market. recieved it june 1st and the breeder stated he was at 44grams and tonight i weighed him and he's at 38.5 grams and i dont think he's eatng yet either. is that pretty normal?

Geckos do fluctuate and maybe he was a little less when he got sent to you, it can take a while for them to start eating again

!!! Please reply !!! I have a question it would be appreciated if you can answer, or anyone in the comments. So 1 of my crested geckos is 2.5 years old ( 2 years and 6 months) and he is 19 grams which I know is not very good. I haven't weighed him much and then the 1st time a weighed him a couple weeks ago I realized he was underweight so I went to the store to grab wax worms because people in my household don't like crickets. So how many Wax worms should I feed him if he is under weight. Again he is 19 grams at 2 and a half years old. But I also have a female crested gecko she is 13.7 grams and im also feeding her Wax worms. Overall sorry for all the typing im just a bit stressed about it. Im just wondering how many Wax worms you think I should feed them !!! Please reply !!!

I wouldn't worry too much, the wax worms should really help, depending on how large they are I would do a couple at a time. How warm is it in your house?
