It has a lot to do with human ethics. But what can we expect from a generation who is raised to aim less effort ,less responsibility and most benefit, most money .

The first number for a year is total wages paid in the USA, the second is total cost to employers of fringe benefits. Figures are %ages of total income, before depreciation. 1970 56 7 (highest value for wages since WWII) 2000 50 11 (employees in effect sacrificed pay for more benefits) 2014 45 11 (the total compensation of employees as a share of total income is the lowest since 1930. The dramatic decline since 2000 is entirely due to a decline in wages alone) These data include the enormous wages and bonuses of Wall Street. Hence the results for the rest of us are even more sinister.
