I've actually never played World of Warships before now, but now I'm scolding myself for not having done it, because this game is awesome! Combining historical naval warfare with incredible visuals and intense but methodical gameplay, World of Warships feels entirely unique and well-polished. Learning the game's basics was a breeze, and since it introduces new mechanics over time, it really eases you into things, even though it poses several tough challenges as well!
I think my favourite aspect is that as a naval game, your ships feel heavy and weighty, but it still gives you enough tools to make sure you can navigate the high seas if you pay attention, and I love the importance of tactics and strategy when it comes to surviving and actually winning games. In other words, you can take this video as a kind of beginner's guide to World of Warships in 2024, as I go through the basics and the epic aspects of World of Warships from the perspective of someone completely new to the game.

I've been playing since alpha..are you kidding. It's crap now. Subs and match making killed the game. Huge player loss in the U.S.

I started in CBT (closed beta testing) I stopped playing the moment they announced submarines. From the start they always said they wouldnt include subs because it makes the maps feel less filled and it will push passive gameplay. Then they broke that promise by including subs, who then made maps feel emptier and made the gameplay more passive then it already was. Yeah, not great. The playerbase has also continued to grow more toxic with every patch because veterans kept leaving...

@@EvoraGT430 I kinda understand it from an outside perspective, if anything, the game does look cool. And I would be lying if I never thought about taking my Yamato for a spin against bots, but yeah. I wish WG would have done things differently

@@EvoraGT430 I just tried World of Warships for the first time in the past weeks and have been having a blast. Haven’t encountered subs myself yet which is also why you didn’t see them in the video. I’ve heard mixed things about them, a lot of sub haters which okay I guess, have your opinion, I’ll experience it myself later on. I’m being absolutely genuine in this video and don’t understand the hatred some people will spew because I like a game.

wows was perfect like in 2015-2016. after that it started to be broken mechanics, disbalance, and pay for win. The more trees vehicles wargaming introduce in their games, the worse their games become
